The EPAR MOVE IV project at the time of the application and now, at the end of its cycle, is an ambitious and stable project. We consider that, bearing in mind the general objectives of the program and the EPAR MOVE project, we have influenced not only the participating students but also the school community. We recognise the importance that this initiative has for young people and their families as well as the contribution it has generated among the educational community in order to reach a more autonomous, committed, communicative, creative and collaborative student. Its impact in the school community can be verfied in the positive influence that the project promotes among those who hope in the future to have the opportunity to participate in the ERASMUS + mobilities and thus build their present in a more comitted way to the school and the group.The participants’ backghround is based on the need for enrichment and personal development, which leads us to the desire of fostering social ties as well as opportunities of equality. This project wishes to equip younsters with tools that allow greater professional security, provide a sense of belonging and broaden their horizons to a European scale, allowing them to leave their neighborhoods and the difficulties that are often presented to them almost as inevitable.In terms of objectives, now, at the distance of a few months, we were able to ponder and reinforce our general objectives:-Create training and personal development opportunities for EPAR’s students and alumni at European level aiming to reinforce their employability and affirmation and integration skills;-To strengthen EPAR’s educational project in the creation of networks and actions aimed at training professionals and citizens with equal opportunities, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, age, gender or geographical origin;- To lay the foundations for networks at European level for a greater dialogue and relationship between Vocational Training and the Labour Market.In this project we carry out the following mobility activities:(.) 6 young former graduates (diploma obtained in the 2017/2018 school year),(.) 14 graduates of the 2nd year of EPAR ‘s vocational courses,(.) 3 STAFF mobilities,The host countries were the United Kingdom, Spain and Slovenia. The destination country of job shadowing was Spain.The impacts and results that were expected and achieved in our target audience are as follows:STUDENTS AND EX-STUDENTS:- Consolidated professional curricula with practical work components;- Higher level of employability after completion of Vocational Training;- Fluency in foreign languages;- Mastery of ICT skills. - New behaviors on how to act in a social and working context;- Autonomy and ability to submit project proposals and / or services and products (entrepreneurship);- Adherence to lifelong learning strategies;- Development of a sense of belonging to Europe and the defense of its humanitarian values;- Creation of social and professional contacts networks, which are a source of opportunities and continuous updating;- Adoption of habits /behaviours that support mental and physical integrity and social integration;STAFF- Mastery of new teaching-learning methodologies;- Better capacity of teachers teams management in the context of professional training;- New management skills and innovative pedagogical practices taking into account the educational reality, namely the Autonomy and Curriculum Flexibility Project;- Feeling of both professional and personal recognition;- Adoption of new relationship methodologies encompassing school, business and family;- Experimentation with methodologies different from those applied in Portugal, especially when working in a higher rates of school failure context.EPAR AND SCHOOL COMMUNITY:- Creation of communication and exchange flows with several international partners;- Strengthening of the sense of training mission in the teaching and non-teaching staff- Reducing school failure and drop out rates;- Increase students’ motivation to study as well as their future expectations.- Greater dynamism in EPAR’s extracurricular activities;- Adoption of new, improved or adapted working methods in the organisation of the school’s educational project;- Interruption and weakening of cycles and social exclusion routes;- Participation in policies and best practices in education and training at European level.NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF PARTNERS:- Adoption of new working methods, improved / adapted in the organisation of the school’s educational project;-- Strengthening and consolidating of the school’s network of work and intervention scope;- Partners network enlargement and future projects / initiatives.In conclusion, it seems to us that we continue to contribute to a greater balance between young people, their community, school and Europe.
