Zawodowi rolnicy przyszłością nowoczesnego Agrobiznesu

Description

"Within the framework of the project ""Professional farmers as a future of modern agribusiness"", two vocational mobility projects in Greece were carried out, with 42 people - 40 learners and 2 teachers. For 1. vocational mobility ̨ within the period of 06.03 - 31.03.2017 20 learners from the Agricultural School in Cudzynowice were educated in the field of agribusiness techniques. Another group - 20 learners of agricultural techniques, went to mobility in 20.04 - 15.05.2017 from the Agricultural School in Smolajny. Both mobilities were preceded by information meetings conducted in schools. At the meetings where we provided information about the project and the recruitment requirements and the rules for participation in the project, we left the application forms for learners willing to participate. According to the recruitment criteria in the application, the Recruitment Commission selected the learners best suited to the recruitment criteria. Learners who have been qualified for mobility participated in preparatory english language courses, as well as in cultural and pedagogical course. With all participants and with legal guardians in case of minors we have signed contracts and its attachments. Before the internships, we organized organizational meetings for young people and their carers. All participants received promotional material in the form of promo T-shirts that they wore during the internship. The on-site training program was implemented in accordance with the assumptions contained in the application. The Greek partner provided a very high level of practice and the students gained and raised their skills and qualifications in line with our expectations. In addition, the Greek partner organized a cultural program. Practices were monitored by the Polish and Greek sides. In addition, the level of knowledge gained from linguistic preparation was checked by the testers and the questionnaire surveying the level of satisfaction was conducted. Cooperation with the participating schools and the Greek partner was throughout the duration of the project and proceeded at a very high level. After the return of the learners from the internships the ceremony of giving certificates of participation were organized. The internship was carried out on the basis of the agreed program. According to the assumptions of the project learners gained specific theoretical knowledge, practical skills and new professional skills, but also personal and cultural. The courses on agriculture (cultivation and farming) allowed learners to acquire specialized and practical knowledge and specific skills in this field that can be transferred and implemented on local markets, thereby contributing to the modernization of the farming practices of the regions in which the participants come from. Understanding the principles of functioning of foreign agribusiness and agri-food businesses has contributed to educating learners in entrepreneurial attitudes. The acquisition of new skills by the participants has contributed to raising the professional qualifications of young farmers in our country, which will increase the pace of modernization and increase the competitiveness of local farms, which is the most common source of subsistence for the inhabitants of the regions where the learners come from. Participants in the project learned in practice impart their knowledge to colleagues, families and local communities, contributing to the popularization of modern agriculture.Participants learned among others:- Plan and carry out cultivation treatments of selected plants: kiwi, olives, pomegranates, eggplants, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, lupins)- Operate machinery and equipment for cultivation, fertilization and plant care,- Apply the methods of ecological crops,- Collect, chirp and care the plants,- Prepare, preserve and store animal feeds for sheep, cattle, pigs,- pPrepare documentation related to the sale of plants and animals,- Use industry-specific English. We hope that the participants will be more effective in making decisions about their future because they have gained more confidence and, from a European perspective, become more aware Europeans, even more ready to co-create a common and tolerant Europe."
