"Organic farming methods are becoming a new growth point for the Russian agricultural sector and for the sustainable development of rural areas. In this regard, the regions need is particularly acute in the field experts.In Russian universities the course ""Organic agriculture"" or not studied or studied in the magistracy in direction ""Agronomics"" without relationship to sustainable development of rural areas and to consider the best European practice. Masters program for sustainable development of rural areas, and organic agriculture are not implemented, underscoring the timeliness of the implementation of the new module OFISRD. Organic farming in the EU - a single production and management system, which improves the agroecosystem, promoting food safety and quality of life.The aim of the module is to prepare OFISRD masters for professional work in the field of management of the agrarian sector of the economy, based on the best practices of European experience. This project involves the study of the priority areas identified in the strategy ""Europe 2020"" (suitable use of resources in Europe, European policy against poverty) and meets the economic, environmental and territorial objectives of CAP.Along with conducting training for students on the program “Organic farming in the system of sustainable rural development: the EU experience”, the project team has planned the following activities:- Round tables on which topical issues of sustainable development of rural territories, the practice of implementation and state regulation of organic farming in the EU and Russia, the application of PPP mechanisms, European experience in food safety and the territorial features of the organization of organic agriculture will be discussed;- All-Russian essay competition for students ""Green world - for a healthy diet"";- study visit ""Organic farming in the regions of Russia"";- All-Russian scientific-practical conference ""The European Union in the global economy: agri-food aspect"". It was planned that the conference will be attended by students and leading scientists from various universities of the country."
