"Activities1) Teaching in the form of lectures and seminars. All students are expected to be well prepared, to work with the problems presented in the course material and to be engaged in discussion. The seminars are prepared in two stages: through individual study of relevant case law and literature as well as through joint discussions and problem-solving in study-groups. Attendance to all except two seminars or lectures (chosen at the student’s own discretion) is compulsory. Relief from the requirement of attendance may be granted by the Course Director.The teaching is based on the material indicated in the attached list of literature and caselaw (internet).2) Round table. Businessmen, lawyers and governmental officials will be invited to take part in the round table. Its aim is to collect practical problems arising during business activity with EU partners. 3) Conference. The aim of a conference is to summarize the ideas of practical lawyers, opinions of scientists and to propose some amendments to Commercial Code of Ukraine concerning harmonization of Ukrainian Commercial Law. 4) During the lectures of guest-professors (from Poland and the Czech republic) students will have the possibility to find about how Eastern European EU states have found their own way of Commercial Law harmonization to EU standards. 5) In the research articles a Coordinator of Jean Monnet Module will try to explain the fundamentals of Commercial Law of the European Union from the scientific point of view taking into account the perspective of closer economic cooperation between Ukraine and the EU;6) A coursebook ""EU Commercial Law"". It is worth mentioning that in Ukraine there is still no coursebook on Commercial Law of the European Union in the Ukrainian language."
