"The institution submitted an application for the Erasmus + program ""Mobility of school teaching staff"": - For the mobility of an English teacher and a mathematics teacher in language training course in English in Great Britain - For a research and training technician responsible for European and international relations in a language training course in Spanish Spain. This school is a General High School as well as an Agricultural College, located in rural area in the center of France, which offers training of high school diplomas in general, technological and professional studies, as well aHND courses in the fields of agriculture and forestry. The high school has been developing the mobility of its students for several years through study trips or professional internships abroad. Moreover since 2017 an Erasmus + KA2 project ""Paroles d'ici, Muisques d'ailleurs"" has been engaged with Lithuania and Romania. The aim of our courses is to prepare learners to enter the professional world with the best possible language skills, with an openness to European cultures and with a better knowledge of European and global issues. Moreover, through professional internships they acquire technical and professional knowledge. In order to be as effective as possible, the people in charge of the training must be trained regularly. Their mobility is also an important asset in their profession because it sets the example and motivates students to do the same. At the same time, it allows us to compare our training experiences with those of our European neighbors and to forge links for future projects (KA2 for example, as was the case with Lithuania and Romania). In this context, the institution applied for a KA1 mobility funding (following the KA1 project in 2014) f for two 12-day English courses in the UK for an English teacher and a math teacher, and a 12-day Spanish course in Spain for the technician (in continuation of her previous courses and in preparation for an Erasmus + project ""partnership strategy on safety in forest yard"") During the courses, the staff kept a blog to share their experience. They also reported on their return to their colleagues in the institution and beyond in meetings with colleagues from the region. These language courses had different types of impact, both at the personal level (cultural and linguistic skills) and at the professional level: better management of the coordination of KA2 projects, making contact with potential partners, building ties with people likely to host future candidates ... European mobility is an unavoidable reality that goes beyond the acquisition of skills required in the school curriculum (school programs). It allows every young person to feel as a citizen not only of his country but of Europe. This helps peoples to come together and contributes to wealth and diversity."
