"<< Objectives >>The primary objective of the ""Leverage New Trends in Youth Work"" project is to enhance the capacity of youth work and youth organizations, particularly in the field of upcycling, gamification, and recreation. The project's activities will involve the active use of non-formal and informal learning methods to teach new concepts of gamification and gaming to direct and indirect participants. The project will also diversify activities with a focus on youth work, promoting nature-friendly thinking in the design of youth work, and designing environmental and outdoor recreational activities that can be adapted to the needs of young people. In addition to improving the capacity of youth work and youth organizations, the ""Leverage New Trends in Youth Work"" project has several other objectives, including increasing the institutional capacity of youth organizations, supporting the professional, social, and personal development of youth workers, and developing a creative work mentality and method in youth work. The project also seeks to disseminate best and proven practices for sustainable environmental youth work, develop new project ideas with youth workers to activate young people to spend their time as efficiently and productively as possible, and support youth policies by developing innovative and new methods. The project also aims to develop strategies for disadvantaged youth to benefit from youth work and publicize the opportunities of Erasmus+ and ESC projects for young people to ensure their participation.Overall, the ""Leverage New Trends in Youth Work"" project seeks to provide a platform for youth workers to enhance their knowledge, experience, and skills, enabling them to design and implement innovative and sustainable practices in youth work. Through the dissemination of the project results, the project aims to promote the effective use of non-formal and informal learning methods, thereby contributing to the development of youth policies at international, national, and local levels.<< Implementation >>Our project, ""Leverage New Trends in Youth Work,"" will consist of various activities aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and experience of youth workers in the field of green competencies, innovative teaching and learning approaches, and quality and innovation in youth work. The project will provide a platform for youth workers to engage in discussions, share experiences and best practices, and develop new ideas that can be integrated into their youth work practices. The trainings will be conducted using both formal and informal learning methods, with a focus on three main themes: upcycling, gamification, and recreation. The project will aim to diversify youth work activities and provide effective training to youth workers through various sessions, workshops, and practical activities. The aim of these activities is to strengthen the love for nature, promote sustainable environmental practices, and support nature-friendly thinking in the design of youth work.Thirty five youth workers from seven different countries, including Netherlands, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, Macedonia, will participate in the project. The profile of the participants includes individuals who are focused on the project topics, internationally oriented, able to express and pass on what they have learned, have a high level of environmental awareness, and have experience in volunteer and youth work. They are also open to teamwork, multiculturalism, and have a good example of a healthy lifestyle. To ensure diversity and opportunities for disadvantaged young people, at least one participant per country will participate in the project, particularly those who are socially, economically, geographically, educationally, or culturally disadvantaged. As part of our sustainability and communication activities, the project aims to increase its impact by reaching out to young people and disadvantaged groups with limited opportunities. All the outcomes of the project will be disseminated to young people and youth organizations, and the project will provide new experiences and collaborations for participating organizations and participants. The project will also introduce new projects and practices into youth work, and steps will be taken to ensure the sustainability of these projects by allowing new youth to be involved in the process. In summary, the project aims to support the professional, social, and personal development of youth workers, increase the institutional capacity of youth organizations, disseminate best practices for sustainable environmental youth work, develop a creative work mentality and method in youth work, develop new project ideas with youth workers, and activate young people to spend their time as efficiently and productively as possible.<< Results >>Our project aims to achieve significant results and impacts by enhancing the skills of youth workers, promoting innovation in youth work, and ensuring the sustainable development of youth projects. Through our program, we intend to improve the professional development of youth workers, which will lead to better outcomes in youth work and better support for young people's personal and social growth. Our project will help youth workers to develop their competences in green skills, innovative learning and teaching methods, quality and innovation in youth work, and other related topics. The participants will be able to understand new trends and apply innovative practices in their work with young people. This will increase their effectiveness and productivity, leading to better outcomes in youth work and a more significant social impact. In addition to individual development, our program also focuses on improving the institutional capacity of the participating organizations. The partners in the project will collaborate at the international level to expand their scope of work and offer better quality service areas to young people. They will be able to diversify their portfolio of activities and develop youth work at the local, national, and international levels. After the training course, our project will focus on dissemination and sustainable development activities. Initially, we will work in seven different countries where our partners are located, followed by expanding to other parts of Europe and the world to explore nature-friendly and innovative leisure activities and develop new projects. This will enable us to contribute to national and international youth policies and help build a more inclusive society.Through the dissemination and sustainable implementation of the project, we aim to reach young people with fewer opportunities, including those who have not previously benefited from youth services. By providing these young people with access to youth and voluntary work, we hope to add value to youth work in terms of inclusion and equal opportunities. By encouraging young people to develop personally, become environmentally aware, live healthily, educate themselves informally, volunteer, communicate, work as a team, and develop an awareness of many issues, we can foster social responsibility and social awareness among young people. Our project will also help to qualify future youth workers by discovering the potential of youth and creating opportunities for young people to participate in volunteering. By doing so, we can contribute to the interests and European opportunities of young people and disadvantaged youth groups who have not previously participated in volunteering. Through the dissemination of innovative research findings and their application in youth work, our project will achieve short-term impacts, while in the medium and long term, we hope to support the development of youth policy issues."
