Description

A strong international involvement is central to achieve university’s goals in education, research and knowledge transfer, as stipulated in the university general strategy. The university wishes to establish and develop strategic partnerships with those universities that match its own education and research profile, thus supporting inspiring academic environments for international networks, research cooperation and mobility.The project offered an opportunity to develop and strengthen existing cooperation between the Palacký University and institutions in partner countries. These countries and institutions were selected according UP priority geographic and study areas and the potential for further development of other forms of cooperation. Mobilities of students and staff were planned to contribute to the internationalization at Palacký University as well as at the partner institutions and to encourage further collaboration with possible result in the development of joint study programmes and projects.The aims of the project were met, even though it was necessary to adapt some of the mobility flows. Term of cooperation and administrative procedures were developed and proved. These procedures will be used in the future for mobilities within and outside the Erasmus+ programme.Mobilities of students and staff significantly contributed to a more international environment at both the sending and hosting institutions and mainly to the attractiveness and promotion of the involved disciplines in participating countries. During the project institutions gained mutually deeper knowledge of the academic environment, which will help to set priorities for further cooperation. This knowledge will be used in preparing cooperation projects, both in mobility and in capacity building.
