<< Objectives >>The project “See U Potential” is all partner organisations’ answer to the reality of local youngsters we can see in our surroundings and in ourselves. The main goal is to raise young people’s self-awareness and self-empower them so that they feel confident enough to take a social action in their local communities. All partners - youth organisations and NGOs from Italy, Slovakia, Poland and Spain - have observed that young people lack knowledge, skills and tools to search their inner motivations, they do not know how to find or use tools that can help them achieve their goals and are sometimes lost in their values and dreams. As a result, they do not take active part in their local communities and do not get involved into social action. The team gathered observations and insights from our organisations and, by using the problem-solution tree method, we found common needs of ours that we will address with this project. The main objective of this project is to raise participants’ self-awareness and to help them to boost their potential so that they can use it in order to do something for their community and achieve their personal and social goals. We want to support participants in finding their huge potential that they sometimes are not able to see yet and to encourage them to voice their opinion and take action along with their social values. By implementing this project, we expect to support them in this self-discovery and boosting of their own potential, as well as empower them to become proactive members of the society. We aim to provide them with tools to set personal and social goals and realise their inner motivation and potential that will make it possible for them to achieve their dreams or realise new ones - with a focus on their social aspirations to help others.Through NFE activities, reflections and recognition of the learning process, we expect to achieve the project objectives, at the same time, creating a safe space for participants to exchange opinions and points of view in an intercultural and multilingual environment, which, in turn, will boost participants’ awareness of various cultures and different perspectives on even deepest topics.<< Implementation >>We plan to implement a Youth Exchange which will be hosted by the Spanish hosting organisation UPlanet in Mollina, Spain, in July 2022, with 3 other organisations as partners: Omnia Onlus (Italy), EduEra (Slovakia) and YoWo Poland (Poland). Due to our experience with the COVID-19 pandemic, where we learnt how to efficiently cooperate online, we are not planning an Advance Planning Visit and we will proceed with all preparation online with equal and active involvement of all partners just as during the development process of this project. In the project, we will involve in total 26 participants from 4 different European countries (Italy, Slovakia, Poland and Spain) with at least 12 participants with fewer opportunities. We will have 6 participants from each country (5 young people and 1 group leader). We will have two organisations with more participants (7 participants from Spain and Poland) in order to better coordinate the whole activity because the project facilitators are from these organisations.Participants already involved in the project and those who will join it during the preparation period are youngsters from our local communities interested in the topic of searching for one's own potential, raising self-awareness and setting personal and social effective goals, as well as lacking motivation or self-confidence in taking a proactive role in their local communities. When composing the group, we took into consideration: motivation and commitment to be an active part of the project during the whole duration, gender balance with respect to various gender identities, age: 18-25 y/o.Out of 26, at least 12 participants are participants with fewer opportunities (at least 3 per country), facing economic, social, geographical and cultural obstacles. We want to include them in the project on the same basis as all others, providing additional support, so that they can take part as any other participant.<< Results >>This project main aim is to help participants to boost their personal potential which will result in their more active participation in the society therefore the expected results are the following ones, depending on the dimension:Participants- Encouraging participants to make introspection and raise self-awareness.- Facilitating participants to identify their personal ambitions, goals, values and strengths.- Facilitating participants to identify their social ambitions, goals, values and competences that they can use to do something for their local communities.- Facilitating participants to compare and conciliate their personal and social goals.- Increasing English skills.- Increase social skills through communicating with other participants.- Being more mature emotionally after leaving their comfort zones.- Being more tolerant with people from different backgrounds, beliefs and cultures.- Bringing them closer to the nature and making them understand the importance of relating to it properly.- Raising European values such as democracy or diversity and feeling more European.- Reaching close people to participants and influencing them through the experience the participants will have to get involved in other activities.Partner associations- Strengthening cooperation among organisations Europe-wide- New possible projects from the network developed on this one- Opening new fields of work- Getting more involvement from sent participants to the project into the organisations activities.Regarding the different geographical dimensions, our expected results are the following ones:LOCAL & REGIONAL LEVEL- Raising awareness of international projects, specifically Erasmus+ through the implementation of the project- Raising acceptance to people from other parts of Europe- Feeling closer to other Europeans- Social, economical or environmental development coming from more motivated youngsters.
