Description

The project ‘Addressing Discrimination and Radicalization at Youth Work through Arts Based Approach’ is develop with goal to raise the capacities of youth organizations to effectively use arts based approach as tool of creating socially inclusive societies free of discrimination and radicalization. The project includes mobility and capacity building activities design in line with following project objectives: -to deepen participants’ knowledge of the concept of arts-based approach in the framework of addressing discrimination and radicalization;-to increase participants knowledge and understanding of the roots, forms and consequences of discrimination and radicalization in relation to youth development;-to develop participants competencies to apply arts-based approach in the process of creating socially inclusive communities and empowering young people with different backgrounds to take part in creating socially inclusive society;-to provide the participants an opportunity to share good working practices from their organizations, to get to know new tools, to reflect on common challenges and create new networks and partnerships;-to strengthen participants' understanding of Erasmus+ Programme and its Key Actions and provide the participants an opportunity to develop ideas for future cooperation at local, national and international level;-to implement mobility (two training courses and study visit) and capacity building activities (local workshops) targeting youth workers and educators;-to develop ideas for local activities addressing the issues of discrimination and radicalization in participant’s communities. By reaching set project objectives we aim to:-raise capacities of youth organizations to address discrimination and radicalization by applying arts based approach;-raise individual competences of involved youth workers in the field of addressing discrimination and radicalization;-strengthen the partnerships and to develop ideas for future local and international projects.The project will be led by Albanian organization ‘Antik’ and it will involve partners from following countries: Kosovo, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Italy, Greece, Spain.
