The Foundation You Can More meeting the needs of the current labor market in the Świętokrzyskie region planned for students from the Gastronomic and Hospitality School Complex in Sandomierz and the School Complex No. 1 in Opatów, educating in the profession of nutrition technician and catering services in four three-week internships in Portugal and Spain . The project was attended by 32 students from the Gastronomic and Hospitality School Complex in Sandomierz and 32 students from the School Complex No. 1 in Opatów. The internship abroad was organized in Portugal by the National Association of Educational Innovation and Inclusion in Schools (AENIE) and Spain by Europroyectos Erasmus Plus. The aim of the project was to increase professional skills increasing the chance of finding a job on the local labor market, in Poland and in Europe, acquiring foreign work experience by students of ZSGiH in Sandomierz and School Complex No. 1 in Opatów, educating in the profession of nutrition technician and catering services, promoting cooperation and mobility between education and training systems in the EU and preparing young people to use their experience and knowledge in the labor market. The project has increased the attractiveness of training and made it possible for future graduates to mobility. During apprenticeships, the students had the opportunity to learn about the specificity of work and technologies used in their professional industry. Detailed objectives of the project for the profession of nutrition technician and gastronomy services: enriching knowledge and gaining more professional experience, by meeting and getting to know professionally run gastronomic services in the tourism industry, learning the flavors of Spanish and Portuguese cuisine and new methods used by Spanish and Portuguese professionals , learning the process of producing local wines and viticulture, used by Spanish and Portuguese local winemakers, learning the technique of combining wine with dishes, the rules for the administration of different types of wine and the use of correct vocabulary when discussing wine. In addition, the free use of industry foreign language, getting to know and establish contacts with people from the industry and getting to know the culture of both partner countries, the opportunity to learn the rules of organizing special events, banquets, industry meetings and preparing specialties for special and banquet tables. The project suited the needs of reducing unemployment among people learners in the profession of nutrition technician and catering services and the labor market requiring high qualifications and professional skills from graduates, and above all, high-level experience. The added value of the project was the confirmation of the acquired skills by an accepted and recognized in all EU countries Europass - Mobility, obtaining internship certificates certified by project partners and certificates summarizing the preparatory classes for the internship.
