"""Emergency Response Techniques in Elderly Care"" is an Erasmus + internship mobility project. Our first mobility was decided between 01.04.2018 and 21.04.2018 in the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. Karolinska University Hospital, which is our partner for the realization of the internship activities for our project subject, has enabled us to perform an efficient internship by placing our participants in the Fruängsgården institution, an expert in patient care. 7 students and 2 companion teachers participated in this mobility. In Karolinska University Hospital, experts visited the hospital for day-to-day visits so that our internship activities could be carried out successfully. Our second mobility was between 23.09.2018 and 13.10.2018 at the Fundatia Victor Babes in Bucharest, Romania. Since our activity program has a comprehensive content, our partner Fundatia Dr. Victor Babes was placed our participants to Spitalul Dr. Ion Cantacuzino institution. Victor Babes visit our internship activities for supervising managers. Our internship program has the same content in both streams and it has been prepared by our school and discussed with our host partners. In the first week, our students learned the science and importance of geriatrics, speech techniques, changes in organ function, health problems and drug applications, symptoms of health problems and communication methods. In the second week, they learned body mechanics and sensitivity, admission-sitting-coma positions, cardiac and respiratory emergencies, and adjustment in the defibrillation stage. In the third week, they learned to take precautions against the infection and their effects on the elderly, the recovery and transport activities of the elderly, communication and support, and the conditions that require drug intervention and what to do in case of side effects.Participants are students aged between 16 and 18 who continue to study in Nursing Aid and Health Care Services. Socio-economically low and middle class families have not been provided with sufficient support for their professional and individual development. The linguistic skills of our students, who face very big problems in employment, are also insufficient. Our project, which has been prepared on the basis of these shortcomings, aims to create opportunities for our students to increase their professional competence, to support their linguistic development and to ensure their cultural and individual improvement. Our corporate goals are to improve the institutional capacity of our school, to gain the European dimension of education and training organizations and to strengthen our corporate communication network by establishing partnerships. Upon the completion of our project, our school has reached all the targets. Thanks to mobility, our students have developed their professional competence by applying on Emergency Response Techniques in Elder Care and have achieved great improvement in linguistic skills by performing internship activities abroad. Our students, who had gone abroad for the first time, were introduced to a new culture through their mobility, learning the history and social sensitivities of the countries they went to and contributing to their cultural and individual development. In addition, our students, who have gained European citizenship consciousness during their stay abroad, have also developed their personal visions. Together with these achievements, our students increased their employability and their thoughts on higher education have also changed positively. Our school started to work to improve its institutional capacity with experiences and experiences gained abroad, especially in the education-training organization, in order to make improvements in the organization of our companion teachers with the experts of the institution abroad. In addition to this, the improvement in personnel competencies has also been observed with the in-house studies after the completion of the project. The outputs of our project were transferred to other professional institutions and students through dissemination activities; In addition, the contributions of Erasmus projects to students and institutions were discussed. Thus, other schools were encouraged to prepare projects, and not only institutional but also local development. With these activities, our institutional capacity has been increased at the desired level."
