The youth council exchange was implemented in 22.-28.9.2017 in Sindelfingen, Germany. 11 members from Turku youth council and 19 members from Sindelfingen youth council took part in the youth exchange. In addition to that 4 youth workers from both countries also took part in the project. According to the initial plan there was supposed to be two different youth exchanges. One in Germany and another one in Finland but the project got funding for one youth exchange. The project idea was developed by two young person from Germany and Finland while they met each other in Council of Europe. The main objective of the project were to learn about the work of both youth councils, learn each others good practices and cultural exchanges between Finland and Germany. In order to achieve the objectives the youth exchange included workshops, group work, prsentations of both youth council's work and study visits. This project provided the youth councils a chance to exchange their practices and to learn from one another. The project provides a great arena for young people to have in dialogue on youth participation it´s importance in todays life.
