The Goals are set by the United Nations as part the Development 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Launched in 2015 they have been adopted by 193 countries. As all countries in the world are impacted by the destructive effects of climate change and we must all take an action.According to the European Environment Agency’s (EEA) latest report,Europe will not achieve its 2030 goals without urgent action during the next 10 years to address the alarming rate of biodiversity loss, increasing impacts of climate change and the overconsumption of natural resources. It’s facing environmental challenges of unprecedented scale and urgency.Pupils of today are the adults of tomorrow and most likely to experience the effects of climate change. That is why it is imperative to learn to live sustainably in order to counteract climate change and other environmental challenges.Students will develop their competences in science, technology, and engineering. These will help them to understand the changes caused by human activity and teach them about the responsibility they have as individual citizens.Learning about citizenship competences and the ability to act as responsible citizens and fully participate in civic and social life will also be one of our objectivesThe Objectives of the Project:-Gaining greater awareness of sustainable development and making use of concrete tools to implement the real use of good practices in all educational-teaching activities, thereby ensuring the social equality- To reduce early school leaving rates (nearly %17) in the communities and make it (% 12 )-To promote social inclusion, diversity and non discrimination supporting students with migrant backgrounds-To set, critical thinking and creativity, cooperation in science, technology, arts and mathematics (STE(A)M) fields, as well as skills in fields such as climate action-To investigate the issue of climate change through discussion, experimentation and observation -To make students more aware and active about a big issue such as the climate changeThe project will last 2 years and involves schools from 2 schools from Italy, Romania,Poland, Crotia, and Turkey. Most of pupils who will take part in this project are with fewer opportunities and face problems such as economic obstacles, cultural differences, disabilities ,health problems. We will perform the activities with students aged 13 to 16 years old to achieve the objectives of the project. The pupils will work actively on the project, but the whole school community will be involved in it.We will stem from the Traditional Teaching and Learning tecniques and use Innovative tecniques which be inspired from MultipleIntelligence Theory Pupils and teachers will collaborate and investigate innovative ways of learning and teaching such as PBL and STEM.Teachers will be promoters of social integration and inclusion of disadvantaged students. They will be able to propose viable strategies for building a better future for students, without segragation and unconfidence,Using 3 axes as imperatives of new century: Learning from anywhere and Learning during all life time, Learning for ALL.We will also constitute a comissions to eliminate participants in mobilities, to monitor, evaluate the project activities and to disseminate the results and to control the budget. The Time Schedule of the Project:1st Mobility Turkey February 2021 /5 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner2nd Mobility in Crotia May 2021 /5 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner3rd Mobility in Poland September 2021 /5 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner4th Mobility in Italy November 2021 / 5 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner5th Mobility in Romania February 2022 /5 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner6th Mobility in Italy June 2022 / 5 Pupils 2 teachers from each partnerEXPECTED INTANGIBLE RESULTSAll participants will be more conscious about innovative teaching and learning tecniques, each partner country's education system ,STEM activities,Enviromental Campaigns. It will contribute better cultural and educational understanding.Students will broaden their linguistic competence ,digital and communication skills and have international friendship.Students at risk of dropout will improve their school marks and participation in classes (in terms of qualifications and number of absence)EXPECTED TANGIBLE RESULTS12 Leaflets1 Guide Book2022 Calendar6 Lesson Plans6 Green StoriesE-Green DictionaryAll the project activity will be based on combatting Climate Change with a multidisciplinary approach organized around indoor/outdoor activitiesand peer-learning sessions in a cooperative transnational working atmosphere.
