"The rural towns of our territory suffer a continuous depopulation, an aging population and a loss of basic services. This situation is mainly explained by the lack of job opportunities for young people who prefer to move to more ""attractive"" territories. This problem is also affecting marginalized urban neighborhoods. However we are convinced that art and the recovery, transmission and enhancement of cultural heritage represent formidable vectors to reflect on our society, energize marginalized rural and urban territories, and imagine other possible futures. In that way the DinamizART project is born of the will to explore and analyze the favorable conditions for the installation of young people in those marginalized territories. During a 8-day seminar, 7 organizations from 6 European countries will work together around the following objectives, using ""Learning by doing"" and ""Action research"" methodologies: - 1) to analyze experiences and cultural and artistic initiatives that contribute to marginalized territories being more attractive for young people; - 2) to design a methodology and tools to analyze opportunities and limitations of a territory and define strategies to promote artistic and cultural activities that foster youth employability The main expected results of the seminar are: - the participatory construction of methodologies and tools to improve interventions and / or design of new proposals for the promotion of artistic and cultural activities in favor of youth employability in marginalized territories, - the construction of a network to develop exchanges, synergies, cooperative dynamics and projects between project partners and other interested organizations or persons, The lessons learned, results and conclusions of the seminar will contribute to the professional development of youth workers. The participatory analysis of experiences and cultural initiatives will focus on the key role of youth for the empowerment of marginalized territories. It will also contribute to empower young people, to position themselves as active citizens by taking a leading role in the inclusive territorial development of Europe."
