"The University of Camerino (UNICAM) has been focusing on the strategic goal of consolidating the internationalization process to improve teaching and research. To date, the number of foreign students at UNICAM represents more than 10% of the student population (Erasmus + participants are not included in this percentage). This notable result is also linked to the decision of the University to offer teaching in a foreign language. All the Master Degree courses of the School of Science and Technology are taught in English, as well as the Biological Sciences course at the School of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine. To these master courses, two Bachelor degree courses in Biosciences and Biotechnology and Geological, Natural and Environmental Sciences are added. The priority objective, which is deemed to be achieved by Unicam, is to provide students and teaching staff with the opportunity to increase their training skills, work in a multicultural and international environment, organize the teaching activities to develop and test cross-cutting skills, ensure new scientific research considerations and establish a fruitful collaboration between Unicam and the foreign universities to share best practices and administrative organization.Another important point in the internationalization policy of UNICAM is the decision to activate double-degree paths with foreign universities aimed at conferring double degree diplomas, as already active for the Master degrees in Biosciences, Science and technology, pharmacy and law. Finally, UNICAM participates to the Italian Interuniversity Consortium for Argentina, CUIA (by the Statute, the Rector of UNICAM is also the President of the CUIA). The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by UNICAM with foreign universities (http://international.unicam.it/alumni-partners/international-agreements) also mark the attention of UNICAM to Internationalization in teaching and research. The Erasmus + Partner Countries program is part of this context and it is a key aspect of the internationalization policy of UNICAM . The funding request was framed in a context of new collaboration between Unicam and Kiev University ""Taras Scevcenko"", put into effect by an agreement signed in March 2015 in which both universities are engaged in a collaborative path for scientific-cultural exchanges, didactics, sharing of administrative practices and experiences, mobility of students, teacher and technical-administrative staff. This collaboration was then flown into the KA107 project of the Erasmus + program. To the project have participate no. 2 incoming students, enrolled in the second cycle and already holding a Bachelor degree in Geography within the Earth Sciences area, for a mobility period of about 6 months ( October 2016 - March 2017), and no. 1 lecturer from 03/04/2017 to 11/04/2017 for no. 8 hours of teaching at the Division of Geology, School of Science and Technology. The students passed with satisfactory results the exams as set out in the Learning Agreement despite the difficulties faced in staying at Camerino following the seismic events of October 26 and 30, 2016. Additionally, the lecturer of Kiev University during the classes provided reflections aimed at analyzing problems related to geological hazards and climate changes. An important impact in the medium to long term will undoubtedly be to strengthen cooperation with Kiev University ""Taras Scevcenko"". However, this first experience of Unicam with KA107 mobility has mainly allowed us to evaluate strengths and weaknesses in approaching this Key Action of the Erasmus + also by correcting, from the organizational point of view, criticalities where identified. In fact, most of the procedures in use are in line with those already envisaged for student mobility within the Erasmus + Program Countries but some differences have been observed , in particular in the choice of students in mobility, in logistics, grant payments, airline ticket purchases and reimbursements."
