The project was relevant for the internationalization of the partners, in terms of education and scientific research and in perspective of consolidating the collaboration between Romania, Azerbaijan and Israel. The bilateral relationship worked very well between the Beneficiary (USV Iasi, RO) and the Azerbaijani partner (UAS from Ganja). The mobilities facilitated the development of education and scientific research of both universities, through the exchange of ideas, learning practices, teaching and research, through participants (students and teaching staff), to build a relationship of academic complementarity, but also to transmit values and European attitudes towards the non-European space.Out of 7 planned mobilities (4 with Azerbaijan and 3 with Israel), only 3 were carried out, with Azerbaijan (about 48% of the planned) and only incoming type (1 SMP, 1 SMS and 1 STA).For SMP, the participant developed skills in Veterinary Medicine and Food Quality (21 ECTS) and for SMS, the participant attended a semester within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (8 disciplines successfully promoted, 28 ECTS). STA mobility totaled 5 days (8 hrs) teaching by an Azerbaijani professor in USV Iasi. Only 37% of the contracted budget value was used. The benefits were mutual. The participants got acquainted with the Romanian academic environment, with access to the modern educational and professional training infrastructure, they also knew the attitudes, cultural and social values of the European area, both through the beneficiary and the Erasmus Student Network. The Beneficiary's staff has improved their teaching skills in English, in both the virtual and real environments. Unfortunately, part of the project, overlapped with the onset of the SARS VOC 2 pandemic and then with the Azerbaijan-Armenia war, which led to the subsequent cessation of outgoing mobility. The beneficiary learned that the implementation of mobility requires improvements (early planning of consular procedures, adaptation of the campus to be more welcoming, contracting services with online accommodation and insurance platforms, involvement of qualified staff in counseling and personal development of incoming students).Long-term benefits: diversification of the educational offer in English; development of joint educational programs (joint degree or double diploma); dissemination by participants of examples of good practice and European values to partners in the non-EU space.
