<< Objectives >>The basic ideas of the project cover the following concerns:•Youth Unemployment•Education and the labour market•Labour market needs and demands•Skills and competence building•National and EU Tools and opportunities for youWe believe that by achieving the objectives of this project we will be able to impact youth unemployment not only in the partner countries but in all EU countries and even beyond. We can share the good practices with our partners and networks to ensure more youth can gain from this project.<< Activities >>This project will be on Youth Exchange which will take place in Cyprus. The activities foreseen for the youth exchange will include proven non-formal methodologies and will be run by the young participants of the project and managed by the partner organisations.We will have 5 participants from each of 12 countries, including the leader, who will implement the project. The profile of the participants are young people from the partner countries who are interested about learning about EU and national labour market laws and policies, interested in having a positive impact on the labour market and learning more about what they can do to have a better impact in their communities. Some participants have some experience in the field while others need to learn a lot about best practices and systems. Most of the participants of this project fall under the category of NEETS, and some are in the process of studying. So we will also address the need to help these young people to find employment and overcome unemployment issues and reduce the amount of NEETS among youth. The idea is to get participants that represent their sending countries to allow us to work on solutions that can be implemented on a national and European level. << Impact >>The first impact will be on youth unemployment, the project will open doors to many young people to find employment in the labour market fields. This will have an impact on youth unemployment in the partner countries and in the EU, we are hoping to see an impact in the early stages of the project and a much greater impact in the follow up activities in all the partner countries and in new partner countries in the EU.The second result will be awareness and education on labour market issues again in the partner countries and the EU. We hope to empower young people to take labour market issues more seriously and act on these, to create communities that are aware, informed, and take action, ensuring that our countries are in line with EU policies, that our communities recycle, reuse, and reduce the waste we create. Where we can take advantage of our resources and exploit them for the good of our planet and of our people and of our EU.
