Description

This project organized a 3-week stay in 2015 and 2016 and 21 mobilities were organized. Participants were professional students and teachers of the option butchery .In Belgium, the job is not valued enough among young people and results in a decrease of the number of youth training.Some companies are facing difficulties in recruiting for this occupation.France has more than 40 different breeds of cattle and produces more than 20% of European beefWe find thus in the Auvergne region specific breeds: the Aubrac, the Salers and the Ferrandaise. At its boundary area, we find the Limousine and the Charolaise.Participants received training internship in France and were able to learn technical skills.This mobility aimed to: 1 / improve vocational training in the field of cattle and hygiene; 2 / to compare the staging of tenders; 3 / to enhance training for our young people and increase vocations. And all of that from the professional situations experienced in the field.These objectives have been achievedThe return in Belgium, there was recognition of learning outcomes.The project was supervised by the CCGPE DGEO and offered all the guarantees to be realized effectively.
