Description

The project KA 103 2016 aims to provide a frame and base for all activities in terms of Internationalisation at UAS Technikum Wien and in particular promotes the enhancement of mobility in all levels between UAS Technikum Wien and its key-partners. This project is a part of the Internationalization Strategy 2017+ of UAS Technikum Wien and comprises activities and measures which are a part of all four strategic fields of action in this strategy: 1. Building strategic partnerships, 2. Internationalization of the study programs, 3. Development of internationalization @ home, 4. Promotion and expansion of mobility.In terms of the content, all the activities within the framework of European mobility and cooperation are based on study-semesters, required internships, double-degree programs, joint research with partner institutions as well as deepening the relationship of the current successful partnerships whith selected staff mobility. With the help of this present project, UAS Technikum Wien was able to enlarge strategic partnerships of maximum compatibility in the areas of teaching and research in all four faculties.The first outcome of the project was to deepen of the strategic partnership with LAPIN AMK as for the first time the Management of UAS Technikum Wien was travelling to Finnland in order to negotiate about diverse fields of common interests and Projects. Secondly UAS Technikum Wien could strenghen the strategic partnership with Midsweden University in order to finalize the Double Degree Agreement in the field of Sports Technology which is a big enrichement for both universities.Thirdly, UAS Technikum Wien could strenghen it´s strategic partnerships and expand teaching mobility projects within the Campus International (Internationalization at home). Whereas the focus in the academic year 2015/16 was on building up strategic partnerships and negotiating objects and measures as well as rising mobility at all levels, the focus current project 2016/17 comprises Internationalization at home as well as increasing the number of Double Degree Programs with Mid-Sweden University and UNIVERSIDADE DE TRAS-OS-MONTES E ALTO DOURO and UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI GUGLIELMO MARCONI - TELEMATICA.Finally, as the year 2015/16 was the first year performing the new Internationalization strategy 2017+, UAS Technikum Wien was able to reach all the objectives in terms of rising mobility as well as building up strategic partnerships also within the current project.
