"The European Mobility Project entitled ""Together for a European Professional Future"" was implemented within a consortium, the main applicant being the ""ValeriuBraniste"" Technical College in Lugoj, alongside the ""Emil Racovita"" Theoretical High School in Baia Mare and the Economic College of the Highland Banat in Resita. The project aimed tofirstly develop professional competences through practical training courses for pupils from 10th to 12th grades from the Tourism and Gastronomy field to partner organizations in London (Nicoll Studios Ltd), Wrexham - UK (Coleg Cambria) and Granada - Spain (Hotel Corona de Granada, Hotel Alixares and Hotel Navas). Alongside the development of students' professional skills, the project also pursued the development of cultural competences, English communication skills and proactive attitudes towards practical activities and implicitly towards theoretical learning activities.The target group consisted of 138 students, 87 pupils from the ""Valeriu Braniste"" Technical College from Lugoj, 27 students from the ""Emil Racovita"" Theoretical High School from Baia Mare and 24 students from the Economic College of the Highland Banat from Resita, the participants being high school and vocational schoolstudents residing in rural or urban areas. 69 students were identified as belonging to the group of people with low opportunities and benefited from exceptional expenses and 95 pupils are from rural areas.Along with the participants' selection activities, preparatory activities, 12-day practical training sessions were held at Cambria College in Wrexham (UK) on Cabin Crew and Catering activities, in London (UK) and Granada (Spain) on Hospitality and Tourism activities at local partners.The project aimed to increase the quality of practical training internships within the consortium, to increase the European dimension at institutional level, to obtain the participants' qualification for completing their studies (Level 4 EQF or Level 3 EQF for Professional School only) and to develop collective institutional actions with stakeholders at local, regional and international level. The overall objective of the project was: Developing the competences of the participants as competent users of technologies in the field of Tourism and Gastronomy (Gastronomy, Tourism / Hospitality, Cabin Crew).Project objectives:O1 - Organizingqualitative 12-day European mobility internships for 138 students from the Tourism and Gastronomy field in the UK and Spain; O2 - Increasing the quality of practical internships for 54 students from the Tourism field on the ""Practical Aspects of the Hospitality Industry"" by carrying outa 12-day training course;O3 - Increasing the quality of practical internships for 69 students from the Public Gastronomy / Cook field on the ""British International Cuisine"" by carrying outa 12-day training course;O4 - Increasing the quality of practical internships for 15 students from the Tourism field on the ""Cabin Crew Activities"" by carrying out a 12-day training course;O5 - Increasing the participants’motivation to learn and improve their proactive spirit by improving their post-project academic results;O6 - Developing participants’ colloquial and professional Englishcommunication skillsfrom A1 / A2 to B1 level;O7 - Developing cultural knowledge through the cultural preparation programs related to the project, highlighted in the project documents;O8 - Multiplying project outcomes by reorganizing / streamlining / transparency of practice-based training at institution level through at least one dissemination activity on the flow;O9 -A compilation of all the activities carried out within the project, in order to multiply the results;O10 - Completion of the studies by at least 95% of the participants by obtaining the Qualification Certificate with the corresponding EQF level.In the long run, the project aimed at increasing the attractiveness of vocational and technical education at local level, better collaboration between teachers, pupils and parents, developing local training courses with local companies, motivating students by adopting proactive attitudes and improving the material resources of the schools involved by obtaining new European funding through cross-border projects.The results obtained:- Knowledge, competences and new attitudes focused on Gastronomy, Tourism / Cabin Crew- A total of 138 completed mobilities- 15 Tourism / Cabin Crew mobilities - 69 Gastronomy mobilities - 54 Tourism mobilities- 10 language, cultural and pedagogical training sessions- A compendium of activities of the project"
