During the academic year 2018/2019, the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University has actively continued to work on the constant advancement of its internationalization perspectives, as well as on the optimization of the conditions necessary for the effective and efficient implementation of the Erasmus+ Project as one of the main generators contributing to strengthening its international position and reinforcing its attractiveness as a reputable mobility destination.The Erasmus+ Project Call 2018/2019 has been published on the general website of the University and its units in a transparent and timely manner, prescribing the mobility criteria in an objective and clear manner in accordance with the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education.The total number of 118 student and staff mobilities were all conducted according to the mobility numbers and conditions mutually agreed by the partner institutions within the framework of the Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreements. In this regard, the University has concluded a significant number of new Erasmus+ Agreements with many reputable partner universities covering various subject fields. In addition, the University has renewed all the expired Agreements with the existing partners which ultimately leads to reinforcing the networking and opening up new perspectives for further collaboration and strengthening its international visibility.All the mobilities were conducted within the framework of the well established internal procedures for implementing outgoing and incoming mobilities offering close assistance and high quality services for students and staff.STUDENT MOBILITY:-the Erasmus+ Calls for Mobility Applications for 2018/2019 have been published on the web-site of the University and its units (faculties and institutes);-all mobility candidates were preparing and submitting their applications in close cooperation with the Erasmus+ coordinator assigned by each faculty/institute;-the Erasmus+ coordinators have officially submitted the Erasmus+ applications to the International Relations Office, supported by ranking prepared by the Erasmus+ coordinators;-the Faculties are responsible for pre-selection and ranking of the candidates;-during the selection procedure, the fair subject field/faculty distribution and representation has been taken into account;STUDIES-the International Relations Office has received 84 applications for student mobility from all units of the University;-the International Relations Office has nominated 82 mobility candidates to EU universities in a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory manner;-79 Erasmus+ candidates in total have successfully conducted their study exchanges abroad;-all student mobilities were conducted during the spring semester in the a.y. 2018/2019;duration of mobility periods: from 3 to 6 months;study cycles: 74 BA and 5 MA students;-all 79 student completed the on-line OLS language test before and after mobility, while 10 students have been allocated licenses for following an OLS course;-all students and staff members signed Grant Agreements prior to the commencement of the mobility period;-all student received 70% of the approved grant prior to their departure, whereas the rest of the grant was paid out upon their arrival, on basis of the signed Certificate of Stay containing the exact dates of start and end of the mobility period;-all students provided the International Relations Office with Transcript of Records issued by the foreign university;-all students provided the IRO with valid Certificates of Stay, confirming the exact arrival and departure dates;-by this point of time, 90% of the students have submitted the official Recognition Reports issued by their home-faculties.TRAINEESHIPS-the International Relations Office has received 20 applications for trainneships;-the International Relations Office has nominated 15 mobility candidates to the chosen companies on basis of the Agreements signed by the three parties;-all student mobilities were conducted during the summer period in 2018/2019 (from June to September);duration of mobility periods: from 2 to 3 months;study cycles: 14 BA students, 1 MA student;-all 15 student completed the on-line OLS language test before and after mobility, while 9 of them have been allocated licenses for following an OLS course;-all students and staff members signed Grant Agreements prior to the commencement of the mobility period.STAFF MOBILITY:-24 staff members have been selected out of 30 applicants; -all University units (faculties/institutes) have submitted ranking lists on basis of which the selection procedure has been done;17 staff members conducted Staff Mobility for Teaching7 staff members conducted Staff Mobility for Training;minimum 8 hours of academic activity re
