The project „Let's meet! Neighbourhood talks, youth talks.” is a youth exchange program, which will take place between October and December of 2017. It will consists of two activities. The first will be the arrival of a Ukrainian group in Poland. The second will take place in Ukraine. During both activities participants' main goal will be to interpret and break the stereotype of a Pole in Ukraine or a Ukrainian in Poland. Participants will be aged between 18 and 25. Each group will consist of 13 participants and two leaders. The participants will be familiarized with Polish and Ukrainian culture, customs, traditions and national cuisines using informal methods. One of the project's main activities will be interviewing Ukrainians living in Poland and Poles living in Ukraine. The goal of this exercise will be to expose the participants to the stories of real-life individuals. The interviews will be posted on the project's blog. The initial barriers between the partcipants will be broken during ice-breaking and team-building sessions. The target group for this project consists of students and other young people, who take an active part in student life and/or organizations participating in the project. The project will have a positive influence on the relations betweend Poles and Ukrainians, particularly now, when we see a considerable deterioration in mutual trust between the two nations. The project will also help promote positive, european values among it's participants.
