Cambridge Future City Feasibility Study

Description

Cambridge Future City focuses on improving transportation, resource management, transparency and digital engagement across the urban area using technology. The city will be less congested, more vibrant and better connected as a result. Whilst a focus for globally significant science, idea creation and commercialisation, Cambridge is also a successful, compact and tight-knit place – attuned to the needs of business, residents, students & visitors. The dual nature of the city means that technologically-advanced innovations can be tested intelligently here & be both scaleable & replicable elsewhere. This proposal – endorsed by Cambridge’s cleantech, wireless, ICT, engineering, architecture, digital and life sciences networks, our universities, civic and business communities – is made by Cambridge City, together with South Cambridgeshire and Cambridgeshire County.
