Electrostatic interactions in many-body polarisable systems.

Project code: 2119111

Electrostatic interactions in many-body polarisable systems.

Description

Investigating the behaviour of charged fullerene clusters, both in their stabilities and their fragmentation by modelling them as dielectric spheres. This makes it possible to investigate the behavioural differences presented between treating fullerenes as a metallic or a dielectric material; allowing us to subsequently assess and enhance their stability by additional manipulation of geometries.
