Abstract

n our cities there is a large stock of social housing built more than 50 years ago and in which whose tenants, normally elderly people, live in poor habitability and energy poverty. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the suitability of proposals for efficient systems to contribute to the energy rehabilitation of these homes, as well as to the improvement of the habitability and autonomy conditions of the irinhabitants. A block in the neighbourhood of San Pablo in Seville will be used as a case study. As methods, computer tools will be used for the design of these systems, ensuring their architectural integration at all times, in addition to the use of surveys to assess habitability conditions. Results are expected to allow the intervention proposals to be assessed and to demonstrate the possibility of adapting an obsolete building to the energy and habitability demands of the 21st century.
