IMPROVING TIMELY REDUCTION OF CARBON DIOXIDE GAS QUANTITY CONTAINING GAS DRINKS IN PET BOTTLES

Abstract

In this study, the change of the gas loss inthe carbonated beverages depending on the different temperature and pet bottlethickness was investigated experimentally. In order to examine the effect ofthese basic parameters on the time-dependent reduction of carbon dioxide gas incarbonated beverages, a 2.5 liter cola beverage was considered. In the study, the two main production stations were evaluated separately, and theirproduction conditions and effects were considered as variable. Thetime-dependent change in the amount of gas contained in the beverage bytemperature, pressure, and PET bottle material distribution, which areproduction inputs, was investigated separately by taking samples from a 2.5liter cola beverage production line. In this context, 2.5 liters of colabeverage production conditions are examined in detail and variables aredetermined via filler and PET blowing process parameters. According to theexperimental results obtained, production conditions of filling and PET blowingunits were restructured and ideal production conditions were defined andcontributed to serial production.
