Kartierung und Simulation von Überschwemmungsflächen in urbanen Räumen nach Starkregenereignissen

Abstract

In vielen Regionen werden Extremniederschlagsereignisse im Zuge des Klimawandels an Anzahl und Intensitat zunehmen, was insbesondere fur urbane Gebiete grose Herausforderungen im Oberflachen- und Grundwassermanagement bedeutet. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurden fur ein Untersuchungsgebiet im Ruhrgebiet hydrodynamische Modellierungen mit unterschiedlichen Niederschlagsintensitaten durchgefuhrt, basierend auf einer Kartierung abflussrelevanter Flieshindernisse und einem digitalen Gelandemodell. Zur Geodatenverarbeitung und Kartenproduktion dienten die Simulationsprogramme FloodArea und Hec-Ras. Ziel war die Erstellung szenarienbasierter Gefahrenkarten, darauf basierend wurden Optimierungsvorschlage fur die Anpassung an Starkregenereignisse erarbeitet. Die Modellierungen mit beiden Programmen zeigen Ahnlichkeiten bei der Lage der Hot Spots. Allerdings sind Unterschiede bei den Wasserspiegellagen zu beobachten: die FloodArea-Modelle zeigen, vermutlich durch limitierte Randbedingungsoptionen, deutlich hohere Werte als die Hec-Ras-Modelle. Dennoch liefern sie eine realistische Visualisierung uberschwemmungsgefahrdeter Gebiete. Die gezeigte Vorgehensweise kann genutzt werden, um Auswirkungen zukunftiger Starkregenereignisse zu simulieren, sie liefert fur die Stadtplanung Entscheidungshilfen zu Anpassungsmasnahmen an den Klimawandel. So lassen sich beispielsweise Standorte fur Retentionsflachen bestimmen.
