Kompetenzen zur nachhaltigen Technikentwicklung

Abstract

Sind Frauen diejenigen, die jene Kompetenzen, die zu einer nachhaltigen Technikentwicklung befähigen, heute schon besitzen? Oder ist das ein Mythos, der nur dazu dient, Frauen die Verantwortung für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung aufzubürden? Dieser Frage geht der vorliegende Beitrag nach. Er beruht auf einem Konzept für ein Promotionsvorhaben, in dem untersucht werden sollte, inwiefern nachhaltige Technik fördernde Kompetenzen tatsächlich geschlechtsspezifisch sind. Er präsentiert Ergebnisse einer Recherche in verschiedenen Forschungsfeldern, die einen Beitrag zur theoretischen Annäherung an die Thematik liefern können. Es zeigt sich, dass der Einfluss bzw. die Rolle des Faktors Geschlecht wesentlich stärker empirisch fundiert werden müsste, um zukünftige Argumentationen und weiterführende Forschungen auf eine solide Basis zu stellen.
