RESULTS OF THE ACADEMIC STAFF ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAMMES

The article describes the results of modern technologies usage in the advanced training programmes for the academic staff of a technical university. The characteristic features of the stakeholders are defined. Trainings, business games, discussions, modern technologies (webinars) are widely used in the education process. To exchange advanced pedagogical experience the professional learning community of university professors “Pedagogy of Higher Education” was organized on the Ning platform. The functions of the platform are described. It is proved that to increase the quality of continuous pedagogical education it is necessary to enhance dialogue forms of work, to introduce communicative approach, and to encourage selfexpression.
