Kosteneffektivitätsanalyse von CO2-Reduktionsmaßnahmen in Österreich

Abstract

Der Verband der Elektrizitätswerke Österreichs (VEÖ), die Wirtschaftskammer, die Industriellenvereinigung und das Institut für Energiewirtschaft und Rationelle Energieanwendung (IER) der Universität Stuttgart haben im Rahmen eines kooperativen Forschungsprojekts die Kohlendioxidminderungsmöglichkeiten in Österreich untersucht und erste kosteneffiziente Strategien zur Erreichung des Minderungsziels analysiert. Der methodische Ansatz des Kooperationsprojekts beruht auf einer integrierten, systemaren Betrachtung aller möglichen Treibhausgasminderungsmaßnahmen, die alle Stufen der Energienutzungskette von der Primärenergiegewinnung bis zur Bereitstellung der Energiedienstleistungen einschließt. Im Rahmen einer dynamischen Kosten-Effektivitäts-Analyse werden dabei die Energieeinsparmöglichkeiten wie auch die Substitutionsmöglichkeiten fossiler Energieträger sowohl in der Energiewirtschaft wie auch bei den Endverbrauchern erfaßt und entsprechend ihrem Kosten-Nutzen-Verhältnis zur Reduzierung der energiebedingten CO 2-Emissionen ausgewählt.
