Bedeutung von Nachhaltigkeit im Einkauf für erfolgreiche Unternehmenstransaktionen

Abstract

Die Bedeutung von Unternehmenstransaktionen – oft unter dem Begriff „Mergers & Acquisitions“ (M&As) zusammengeführt – nehmen in der Anzahl und Bedeutung in den letzten Jahren nicht nur in Deutschland deutlich zu. Dabei stehen oft die Reduktion von Kosten und die Steigerung von Effizienz im Mittelpunkt. In der Gesellschaft spielen jedoch zunehmend Fragen der Nachhaltigkeit eine Rolle und beeinflussen Unternehmen in ihrem Geschäftsmodell. Genau an dieser Stelle setzt die Dissertation an, indem sie den Zusammenhang von Unternehmenstransaktionen und Nachhaltigkeit erforscht. Dabei wird der Hypothese nachgegangen, dass die Unternehmensfunktion Einkauf als Schnittstelle dient, um Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte erfolgreich in Unternehmen einzuführen und dauerhaft zu verfolgen. Damit kann die Chance gesteigert werden, durch eine entsprechend ausgestaltete Unternehmensfunktion Mehrwerte bei M&A-Transaktionen zu generieren.
