In the present paper we have analysed the possibilities of capitalizing the human potential of young specialists, which is a key element in ensuring the sustainability of an economy. Just as young specialists constitute a pillar of sustainability, the development of the human potential of young specialists provides the opportunity to ground and shape the path to an economy where innovation and progress are paving the way to sustainable development. In this paper, the ways of developing the human potential of young specialists were analysed, as well as the effects of this development. The methods that helped us advance in research were analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, scientific abstraction. In conclusion, it should be noted that the economy can be developed by developing the potential of young specialists which represents a route towards sustainability.
