Abstract

Der Einfluss des Klimawandels auf die Ausprägung der städtischen Wärmeinsel wird für die Stadt Karlsruhe untersucht. Zunächst wird ihre heutige tages- und jahreszeitliche sowie räumliche Variabilität anhand mehrerer meteorologischer Messdatensätze charakterisiert. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf innerstädtischen Temperaturunterschieden bei Hitzeereignissen. Anschließend wird die zukünftige Entwicklung der städtischen Wärmeinsel mithilfe hoch aufgelöster regionaler Klimamodelldaten projiziert.
