Abstract
[EN] This paper analyses the increase in energy consumption caused by COVID-19 containment measures in university classrooms in Mexico, particularly in hot humid areas where the use of air conditioning units is required. The effect of ventilation on classroom temperature, student comfort and air conditioning equipment consumption are analysed.
