Abstract

[EN] In the current context of energy transition and taking into account the SDGs, maximizing the efficiency in the use of electrical energy is a matter of undoubted relevance. In particular, in the design of electrical installations, in addition to ensuring the safety of users and guaranteeing the continuity and flexibility of the supply, currently, the designer should take energy considerations into account, so that the resulting installation can be classified as energy efficient according to the standards defined by the regulations. The objective of this TFM is to analyze an existing electrical installation from an energy perspective, in this case that of the 5E building on the Vera campus, according to the criteria established by the UNE-HD 60364-8-1 (2020) standard "Electrical installations of low voltage Part 8-1: Functional aspects, Energy efficiency , in order to establish the efficiency class of the installation and evaluate possible measures to improve its efficiency proposed in the standard, such as: Optimization of the location of the CT Optimization of circuit sections Power factor correction Reduction of the effects of harmonic currents Introduction of control systems The work is based on an exhaustive collection of installation data (one-line diagram, load characteristics, load utilization patterns, electrical consumption measurements, harmonic distortion measurements). Based on these data, an estimate of losses in different circuits and global losses is made, the reduction of losses that could be achieved with the different measures and their economic impact on the total cost of the installation throughout its life is evaluated. useful. Although it is evident that the application of some of the measures studied is unfeasible in an installation already in operation, it is considered that the results provided are of great interest since they can serve as guidance in the design of new electrically efficient installations, a field in which currently there is limited experience.
