Brechas tecnológicas de la cadena productiva del aguacate Hass en el Valle del Cauca y descripción del estado del arte

Abstract

En el marco del proyecto “Incremento de la competitividad sostenible en la agricultura de ladera en todo el departamento, Valle del Cauca, occidente”, financiado por el Sistema General de Regalías (sgr) y operado por la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Palmira, se priorizaron tres cadenas productivas del sector frutícola con potencial de producción y comercialización en coherencia con los planes sectoriales y las apuestas departamentales. En este sentido, la Universidad encomendó al Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical (ciat), el desarrollo de las actividades concernientes con la construcción del estado del arte de las cadenas productivas del aguacate, la mora y la piña en el departamento del Valle del Cauca, y la identificación de las principales brechas tecnológicas en cada fase de las mismas. Para este propósito, se llevó a cabo un proceso de investigación documental, entrevistas con los actores involucrados y talleres con múltiples actores. En este documento se presentan las metodologías empleadas, los hallazgos, el análisis y las conclusiones con base en los resultados finales.
