Abstract

La elección en Honduras para implementar esta iniciativa no es casualidad, desde hace varios años el país enfrenta eventos climáticos extremos y permanece expuesto a condiciones de variabilidad que retan la estabilidad de su producción agrícola. Las MAPs han surgido como una acción de respuesta valiosa para abordar la problemática, conectando a eslabones de la cadena de información y traduciendo los mensajes brindados por CENAOS-COPECO. También busca ofrecer recomendaciones agrícolas específicas a los rubros productivos en el territorio según las proyecciones estacionales de lluvia. Este documento explora el estado de las MAPs en 2022 y 2023 a partir de información consultada a participantes en dos encuentros nacionales de las MAPs en Honduras. Se analiza acerca de los logros alcanzados, desafíos, lecciones aprendidas y oportunidades. El propósito a partir de este diagnóstico es fortalecer la iniciativa de las MAPs proponiendo siguientes pasos de acción en los territorios y a nivel central.
