Abstract

In un mondo del lavoro radicalmente mutato rispetto al recente passato, il tema della formazione alle professioni assume un ruolo centrale nell’attuale dibattito socioeconomico e istituzionale. L’acquisizione di competenze riguarda sia i giovani che si affacciano al mondo del lavoro, sia i professionisti già inseriti per i quali il processo di upskilling, vale a dire l’implementazione delle competenze dei singoli dipendenti nel loro medesimo ruolo, assume rilevanza per mantenere elevati livelli di occupabilità e di competitività. Di fronte alle sfide di un mondo connotato da cambiamenti che si susseguono con una un’accelerazione senza precedenti, è altresì importante dare valore anche al cosiddetto reskilling, cioè la riqualificazione del personale per innovare profili lavorativi divenuti obsoleti o acquisire competenze in nuove aree professionali. In questa cornice contestuale, la riflessione pedagogica è sollecitata a supportare i professionisti affinché imparino a conoscersi e ad avere contezza dei propri punti di forza e di debolezza, anche in modo da individuare le aree di miglioramento ed investire in quella direzione, nella consapevolezza che competenze trasversali, orientative e per la sostenibilità si possono potenziare in maniera continuativa.
