Karakterizacija i mogućnosti upravljanja otpadom nastalim u procesu oporabe tiskanih pločica

Abstract

Između mnogih vrsta otpada, elektronički otpad je primjer otpada kojem se u posljednjih nekoliko godina pridaje velika pažnja u smislu njegove oporabe, odnosno izdvajanja komponenti iz električnih uređaja koje se mogu ponovno upotrijebiti. Nakon izdvajanja metalnih frakcija te obrade i prosijavanja tiskanih pločica nastaje vitroplast. To je materijal koji je u pravilu sastavljen od polimernih i staklenih vlakana, ovisno o starosti pločica te ga ima otprilike 40 – 50 %. U okviru ovog rada, kroz postupke karakterizacije vitroplasta, ispitivana je mogućnost upotrebe nastalog otpadnog materijala u korisne svrhe. Također je ispitivana mogućnost odlaganja vitroplasta na odlagalište u smislu definiranja vrste otpada (opasni, neopasni i inertni). Nadalje, u okviru istraživanja, vitroplast je umješavan u betonsku smjesu, zatim u opločnike, a ispitivana je i mogućnost njegove primjene kao potencijalnog adsorbensa u procesu pročišćavanja otpadnih voda. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju da je umjesto odlaganja na odlagalište, vitroplast moguće uspješno koristiti kao dodatak opločnicima i adsorbens.
