Research on Temperature Drift Compensation Method to Improve Measurement Accuracy of Outdoor D-PMU
Research on Temperature Drift Compensation Method to Improve Measurement Accuracy of Outdoor D-PMU
Building a regional situational awareness system based on distribution level Phasor Measurement Unit (D-PMU) is an effective way to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the distribution network. High-precision measurement is the cornerstone of the controllable distribution network, and the AC sampling is the core to ensure D-PMU measurement performance. By analyzing the source of hardware caused error in the AC sampling, a compensation method to improve the accuracy of D-PMU during on-site operation is proposed by performing temperature drift compensation through quadratic polynomial fitting. The overall accuracy performance of DPMU with temperature drift compensation is further validated through artificial simulation environment tests.
