SYNTHESIS AND STUDY OF INHIBITORY PROPERTIES OF QATERNARY AMMONIUM SALTS BASED ON AMINOETHYLETHANOLAMINE

Abstract

This article is devoted to the topical today biological corrosion problem of steel under the conditions of production, transportation and refining. The characteristics of corrosion caused by the vital activity of sulfate-reducing bacteria were analyzed. The article seeks to examine the effectiveness of new ammonium salts based on aminoethylethanolamine as reagents possessing inhibitory and antibacterial properties. The main content of the research is the analysis of the synthesis of new compounds based on ammonium aminoethylethanolamine and benzyl chloride. The optimal conditions of the synthesis were determined on the basis of the effect of temperature, reaction time, molar ratio of the final product output. The considerable attention was devoted to testing obtained new metal ammonium salts as acid corrosion inhibitors, including determining the corrosion rate and the degree of protection. The comparison of the results of the evaluation of the inhibitory properties of synthesized salts is presented using the rate indicator of corrosion "Monicor-2M" and gravimetric method. The results of the evaluation of bactericidal activity of the synthesized compounds were obtained with the determining the degree of suppression of sulfate-reducing bacteria SRB culture using isolated from natural sources and identified as Desulfovibrio desulfuricans. The results showed a high level of protective action of synthesized salts and their possible use in the oil industry.Forcitation:Katkova S.S., Levashova V.I.
