    Le changement climatique et les événements extrêmes connexes sont devenus des défis mondiaux pour assurer un développement durable. Cela affecte la disponibilité de l'eau et la production agricole, en particulier dans les pays en développement. Cette étude a exploré les facteurs affectant les mécanismes d'adaptation des agriculteurs au changement climatique dans différentes zones agro-écologiques du district de Bure Zuria, dans le nord-ouest de l'Éthiopie. Une enquête auprès des ménages, des discussions de groupe, des entretiens avec des informateurs clés et des observations ont été utilisés pour acquérir des données primaires sur les caractéristiques socio-économiques et démographiques des agriculteurs, les stratégies d'adaptation et les obstacles potentiels. Environ 190 ménages sélectionnés au hasard de différentes agro-écologies ont été inclus dans cette étude. De plus, des rapports et des sources publiées ont été utilisés pour acquérir des données secondaires. Les données ont été analysées à l'aide d'un modèle de régression logit multinomial et de statistiques descriptives. Les résultats ont indiqué que les pratiques de conservation des sols et de l'eau (26,7 %) étaient les principales réponses d'adaptation en agroécologie des hautes terres. En revanche, l'alimentation complémentaire du bétail (56 %) a été la principale réponse d'adaptation aux effets néfastes des extrêmes climatiques en agroécologie des basses terres. Les agriculteurs ont identifié la rareté des terres (25,84 %) et la pénurie d'eau pour l'irrigation (28,57 %) comme des obstacles majeurs à l'adaptation dans les agroécologies des hautes terres et des basses terres, respectivement. En outre, l'agro-écologie, le niveau d'éducation, l'âge, le travail actif, le nombre d'animaux d'élevage (TLU), le revenu non agricole, la fréquence des contacts de vulgarisation, l'accès au crédit et l'accès au marché ont été des facteurs décisifs affectant les mécanismes d'adaptation des agriculteurs pour résister aux phénomènes climatiques extrêmes. En conclusion, les pratiques de conservation des sols et de l'eau sont plus pratiquées dans les zones de hautes terres que dans les zones de basses terres. Parce que la pente raide des terres agricoles et les sols érodables augmentent la vulnérabilité des agriculteurs aux risques d'inondation dans les zones de hautes terres que dans les zones de basses terres. Los resultados indicaron que las prácticas de conservación del suelo y el agua (26,7%) fueron las principales respuestas de adaptación en la agroecología de las tierras altas. Por el contrario, la alimentación suplementaria para el ganado (56%) fue la principal respuesta de adaptación a los efectos adversos de los extremos climáticos en la agroecología de las tierras bajas. Los agricultores identificaron la escasez de tierras (25,84%) y la escasez de agua para riego (28,57%) como las principales barreras para la adaptación en las agroecologías de tierras altas y bajas, respectivamente. Además, la agroecología, el nivel de educación, la edad, el trabajo activo, el número de ganado (TLU), los ingresos fuera de la granja, la frecuencia de los contactos de extensión, el acceso al crédito y el acceso al mercado fueron factores decisivos que afectaron los mecanismos de adaptación de los agricultores para resistir eventos climáticos extremos. En conclusión, las prácticas de conservación del suelo y el agua se practican más en las zonas montañosas que en las zonas bajas. Climate change and related extreme events have become global challenges in ensuring sustainable development. This affects water availability and agricultural production, particularly in developing countries. This study explored the factors affecting farmers' adaptation mechanisms to climate change in different agro-ecological zones of the Bure Zuria district of northwestern Ethiopia. A household survey, focus group discussion, key informant interviews, and observations were used to acquire primary data on farmers' socioeconomic and demographic characteristics, adaptation strategies and potential barriers. About 190 randomly selected households from different agro-ecologies were included in this study. Moreover, reports and published sources were used to acquire secondary data. Data were analyzed using a multinomial logit regression model and descriptive statistics. The results indicated that soil and water conservation practices (26.7%) were the main adaptation responses in highland agro-ecology. In contrast, supplementary feeding for livestock (56%) was the main adaptation response to the adverse effects of climate extremes in lowland agro-ecology. Farmers identified land scarcity (25.84%) and shortage of water for irrigation (28.57%) as major barriers to adaptation in the highland and lowland agro-ecologies, respectively. In addition, agro-ecology, education level, age, active labor, number of livestock (TLU), off-farm income, frequency of extension contacts, credit access, and market access were decisive factors affecting farmers' adaptation mechanisms to withstand extreme climatic events. In conclusion, soil and water conservation practices are more practiced in highland areas than in lowland areas. Because the steepness of farmlands and erodible soils increase farmers' vulnerability to flood hazards in highland areas than in lowland areas.     Pour mieux comprendre l'application mondiale des modèles de prédiction de l'érosion des sols, nous avons examiné de manière approfondie la littérature de recherche pertinente évaluée par des pairs sur la modélisation de l'érosion des sols publiée entre 1994 et 2017. Nous avons cherché à identifier (i) les processus et les modèles les plus fréquemment abordés dans la littérature, (ii) les régions dans lesquelles les modèles sont principalement appliqués, (iii) les régions qui restent non traitées et pourquoi, et (iv) la fréquence des études menées pour valider/évaluer les résultats des modèles par rapport aux données mesurées. Pour mener à bien cette tâche, nous avons combiné les connaissances collectives de 67 scientifiques spécialistes de l'érosion des sols de 25 pays. La base de données résultante, intitulée « Global Applications of Soil Erosion Modelling Tracker (GASEMT) », comprend 3030 enregistrements de modélisation individuels provenant de 126 pays, englobant tous les continents (à l'exception de l'Antarctique). Sur les 8471 articles identifiés comme potentiellement pertinents, nous avons examiné 1697 articles appropriés et systématiquement évalué et transféré 42 attributs pertinents dans la base de données. Cette base de données GASEMT fournit des informations complètes sur l'état de l'art des modèles d'érosion des sols et des applications de modèles dans le monde entier. Cette base de données vise à soutenir la prochaine évaluation mondiale de l'érosion des sols par les Nations Unies basée sur les pays, en plus d'aider à éclairer les priorités de recherche sur l'érosion des sols en construisant une base pour de futures analyses ciblées et approfondies. Nuestro objetivo fue identificar (i) los procesos y modelos abordados con mayor frecuencia en la literatura, (ii) las regiones dentro de las cuales se aplican principalmente los modelos, (iii) las regiones que permanecen sin abordar y por qué, y (iv) con qué frecuencia se realizan estudios para validar/evaluar los resultados del modelo en relación con los datos medidos. Para realizar esta tarea, combinamos el conocimiento colectivo de 67 científicos de erosión de suelos de 25 países. La base de datos resultante, denominada 'Global Applications of Soil Erosion Modelling Tracker (GASEMT)', incluye 3030 registros de modelado individuales de 126 países, que abarcan todos los continentes (excepto la Antártida). De los 8471 artículos identificados como potencialmente relevantes, revisamos 1697 artículos apropiados y evaluamos y transferimos sistemáticamente 42 atributos relevantes a la base de datos. Esta base de datos GASEMT proporciona información integral sobre el estado del arte de los modelos de erosión del suelo y las aplicaciones de modelos en todo el mundo. To gain a better understanding of the global application of soil erosion prediction models, we comprehensively reviewed relevant peer-reviewed research literature on soil-erosion modelling published between 1994 and 2017. We aimed to identify (i) the processes and models most frequently addressed in the literature, (ii) the regions within which models are primarily applied, (iii) the regions which remain unaddressed and why, and (iv) how frequently studies are conducted to validate/evaluate model outcomes relative to measured data. To perform this task, we combined the collective knowledge of 67 soil-erosion scientists from 25 countries. The resulting database, named 'Global Applications of Soil Erosion Modelling Tracker (GASEMT)', includes 3030 individual modelling records from 126 countries, encompassing all continents (except Antarctica). Out of the 8471 articles identified as potentially relevant, we reviewed 1697 appropriate articles and systematically evaluated and transferred 42 relevant attributes into the database. This GASEMT database provides comprehensive insights into the state-of-the-art of soil- erosion models and model applications worldwide. This database intends to support the upcoming country-based United Nations global soil-erosion assessment in addition to helping to inform soil erosion research priorities by building a foundation for future targeted, in-depth analyses.     Le changement climatique et les événements extrêmes connexes sont devenus des défis mondiaux pour assurer un développement durable. Cela affecte la disponibilité de l'eau et la production agricole, en particulier dans les pays en développement. Cette étude a exploré les facteurs affectant les mécanismes d'adaptation des agriculteurs au changement climatique dans différentes zones agro-écologiques du district de Bure Zuria, dans le nord-ouest de l'Éthiopie. Une enquête auprès des ménages, des discussions de groupe, des entretiens avec des informateurs clés et des observations ont été utilisés pour acquérir des données primaires sur les caractéristiques socio-économiques et démographiques des agriculteurs, les stratégies d'adaptation et les obstacles potentiels. Environ 190 ménages sélectionnés au hasard de différentes agro-écologies ont été inclus dans cette étude. De plus, des rapports et des sources publiées ont été utilisés pour acquérir des données secondaires. Les données ont été analysées à l'aide d'un modèle de régression logit multinomial et de statistiques descriptives. Les résultats ont indiqué que les pratiques de conservation des sols et de l'eau (26,7 %) étaient les principales réponses d'adaptation en agroécologie des hautes terres. En revanche, l'alimentation complémentaire du bétail (56 %) a été la principale réponse d'adaptation aux effets néfastes des extrêmes climatiques en agroécologie des basses terres. Les agriculteurs ont identifié la rareté des terres (25,84 %) et la pénurie d'eau pour l'irrigation (28,57 %) comme des obstacles majeurs à l'adaptation dans les agroécologies des hautes terres et des basses terres, respectivement. En outre, l'agro-écologie, le niveau d'éducation, l'âge, le travail actif, le nombre d'animaux d'élevage (TLU), le revenu non agricole, la fréquence des contacts de vulgarisation, l'accès au crédit et l'accès au marché ont été des facteurs décisifs affectant les mécanismes d'adaptation des agriculteurs pour résister aux phénomènes climatiques extrêmes. En conclusion, les pratiques de conservation des sols et de l'eau sont plus pratiquées dans les zones de hautes terres que dans les zones de basses terres. Parce que la pente raide des terres agricoles et les sols érodables augmentent la vulnérabilité des agriculteurs aux risques d'inondation dans les zones de hautes terres que dans les zones de basses terres. Il est suggéré que des enquêtes sur les impacts sexospécifiques induits par le changement climatique soient menées pour concevoir des réponses inclusives et efficaces. Climate change and related extreme events have become global challenges in ensuring sustainable development. This affects water availability and agricultural production, particularly in developing countries. This study explored the factors affecting farmers' adaptation mechanisms to climate change in different agro-ecological zones of the Bure Zuria district of northwestern Ethiopia. A household survey, focus group discussion, key informant interviews, and observations were used to acquire primary data on farmers' socioeconomic and demographic characteristics, adaptation strategies and potential barriers. About 190 randomly selected households from different agro-ecologies were included in this study. Moreover, reports and published sources were used to acquire secondary data. Data were analyzed using a multinomial logit regression model and descriptive statistics. The results indicated that soil and water conservation practices (26.7%) were the main adaptation responses in highland agro-ecology. In contrast, supplementary feeding for livestock (56%) was the main adaptation response to the adverse effects of climate extremes in lowland agro-ecology. Farmers identified land scarcity (25.84%) and shortage of water for irrigation (28.57%) as major barriers to adaptation in the highland and lowland agro-ecologies, respectively. In addition, agro-ecology, education level, age, active labor, number of livestock (TLU), off-farm income, frequency of extension contacts, credit access, and market access were decisive factors affecting farmers' adaptation mechanisms to withstand extreme climatic events. In conclusion, soil and water conservation practices are more practiced in highland areas than in lowland areas. Because the steepness of farmlands and erodible soils increase farmers' vulnerability to flood hazards in highland areas than in lowland areas.     Pour mieux comprendre l'application mondiale des modèles de prédiction de l'érosion des sols, nous avons examiné de manière approfondie la littérature de recherche pertinente évaluée par des pairs sur la modélisation de l'érosion des sols publiée entre 1994 et 2017. Nous avons cherché à identifier (i) les processus et les modèles les plus fréquemment abordés dans la littérature, (ii) les régions dans lesquelles les modèles sont principalement appliqués, (iii) les régions qui restent non traitées et pourquoi, et (iv) la fréquence des études menées pour valider/évaluer les résultats des modèles par rapport aux données mesurées. Pour mener à bien cette tâche, nous avons combiné les connaissances collectives de 67 scientifiques spécialistes de l'érosion des sols de 25 pays. La base de données résultante, intitulée « Global Applications of Soil Erosion Modelling Tracker (GASEMT) », comprend 3030 enregistrements de modélisation individuels provenant de 126 pays, englobant tous les continents (à l'exception de l'Antarctique). Sur les 8471 articles identifiés comme potentiellement pertinents, nous avons examiné 1697 articles appropriés et systématiquement évalué et transféré 42 attributs pertinents dans la base de données. Cette base de données GASEMT fournit des informations complètes sur l'état de l'art des modèles d'érosion des sols et des applications de modèles dans le monde entier. Para realizar esta tarea, combinamos el conocimiento colectivo de 67 científicos de erosión de suelos de 25 países. La base de datos resultante, denominada 'Global Applications of Soil Erosion Modelling Tracker (GASEMT)', incluye 3030 registros de modelado individuales de 126 países, que abarcan todos los continentes (excepto la Antártida). To perform this task, we combined the collective knowledge of 67 soil-erosion scientists from 25 countries. The resulting database, named 'Global Applications of Soil Erosion Modelling Tracker (GASEMT)', includes 3030 individual modelling records from 126 countries, encompassing all continents (except Antarctica). Out of the 8471 articles identified as potentially relevant, we reviewed 1697 appropriate articles and systematically evaluated and transferred 42 relevant attributes into the database. This GASEMT database provides comprehensive insights into the state-of-the-art of soil- erosion models and model applications worldwide. This database intends to support the upcoming country-based United Nations global soil-erosion assessment in addition to helping to inform soil erosion research priorities by building a foundation for future targeted, in-depth analyses.
