    Durante la última década, los principales países del sur de Asia (Pakistán, India y Bangladesh) han utilizado efectivamente la electricidad eólica para evitar futuras dificultades energéticas. Sin embargo, la industria eólica está siendo influenciada por una amplia gama de factores. El objetivo de este estudio es desarrollar un modelo de cadena de valor para la industria de la energía eólica del sur de Asia, analizar los factores internos y externos para analizar la viabilidad de la condición actual y la hoja de ruta futura para fomentar el sector de la energía eólica mediante la adopción del modelo de Fortalezas, Debilidades, Oportunidades y Amenazas (FODA). En primer lugar, se desarrolló un nuevo modelo de cadena de valor para la industria eólica. En segundo lugar, identificamos los factores sociales, económicos y ambientales, que influyen significativamente en la competitividad y el desarrollo de la industria eólica a través de un examen claro y preciso de las fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas en la perspectiva del sur de Asia. Se identificaron y analizaron un total de 19 factores. Los resultados de la investigación indican la situación actual y las proyecciones futuras de la industria eólica en un entorno competitivo. Finalmente, sugerimos medidas políticas esenciales para estabilizar el crecimiento de la industria eólica. Este estudio servirá como punto de referencia para el desarrollo constante de la industria de la energía eólica y hacia un sur de Asia seguro y sostenible. Au cours de la dernière décennie, les principaux pays d'Asie du Sud (Pakistan, Inde et Bangladesh) ont efficacement utilisé l'électricité éolienne pour éviter de futures difficultés énergétiques. Cependant, l'industrie éolienne est influencée par un large éventail de facteurs. L'objectif de cette étude est de développer un modèle de chaîne de valeur pour l'industrie éolienne sud-asiatique, d'examiner les facteurs internes et externes pour analyser la viabilité de l'état actuel et de la feuille de route future pour favoriser le secteur de l'énergie éolienne en adoptant le modèle SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats). Tout d'abord, un nouveau modèle de chaîne de valeur a été développé pour l'industrie éolienne. Deuxièmement, nous avons identifié les facteurs sociaux, économiques et environnementaux, influençant de manière significative la compétitivité et le développement de l'industrie éolienne grâce à un examen clair et précis des forces, des faiblesses, des opportunités et des menaces dans la perspective sud-asiatique. During the last decade, the major South Asian countries (Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh) have effectively utilized wind electricity to avoid future energy predicament. However, the wind industry is being influenced by a diverse range of factors. The aim of this study is to develop a value chain model for the South Asian wind power industry, scrutinize both internal and external factors to analyze the viability of present condition and future roadmap to foster the wind energy sector by adopting Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) model. Firstly, a novel value chain model was developed for the wind industry. Secondly, we identified the social, economic, and environmental factors, significantly influencing the competitiveness and development of the wind industry through clear and precise examination of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the South Asian perspective. A total of 19 factors were identified and analyzed. Research findings indicate the current situation and future projections of the wind industry in a competitive environment. Finally, we suggested essential policy measures to stabilize the wind industry's growth. This study will serve as a benchmark for the steady development of the wind power industry and towards a secure and sustainable South Asia. خلال العقد الماضي، استخدمت دول جنوب آسيا الرئيسية (باكستان والهند وبنغلاديش) بشكل فعال كهرباء الرياح لتجنب مأزق الطاقة في المستقبل. ومع ذلك، تتأثر صناعة الرياح بمجموعة متنوعة من العوامل. الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تطوير نموذج سلسلة القيمة لصناعة طاقة الرياح في جنوب آسيا، والتدقيق في كل من العوامل الداخلية والخارجية لتحليل جدوى الوضع الحالي وخارطة الطريق المستقبلية لتعزيز قطاع طاقة الرياح من خلال اعتماد نموذج نقاط القوة والضعف والفرص والتهديدات (SWOT). أولاً، تم تطوير نموذج سلسلة قيمة جديد لصناعة الرياح. ثانيًا، حددنا العوامل الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والبيئية، التي تؤثر بشكل كبير على القدرة التنافسية وتطوير صناعة الرياح من خلال فحص واضح ودقيق لنقاط القوة والضعف والفرص والتهديدات من منظور جنوب آسيا. تم تحديد وتحليل ما مجموعه 19 عاملاً. تشير نتائج البحث إلى الوضع الحالي والتوقعات المستقبلية لصناعة الرياح في بيئة تنافسية. وأخيرًا، اقترحنا تدابير سياسية أساسية لتحقيق الاستقرار في نمو صناعة الرياح. ستكون هذه الدراسة بمثابة معيار للتطور المطرد لصناعة طاقة الرياح ونحو جنوب آسيا آمنة ومستدامة.

    As the digital economy develops rapidly and the network information technology advances, new development models represented by the network economy have emerged, which have a crucial impact on green economic growth. However, the relevant previous studies lacked the role of analyzing the direct and indirect effects of internet development on green economic growth at the prefecture-level city level. For this purpose, this paper aims to examine the intrinsic mechanism of the impact of internet development on green economic growth and provide empirical support for cities and regions in China to increase internet construction. Furthermore, the mixed model (EBM), which includes both radial and non-radial distance functions, is applied to calculate the green economic growth index. Fixed effect model and mediation effect model are also employed to test influence mechanisms of the internet development on green economic growth using panel data of 269 prefecture-level cities in China from 2004 to 2019. The statistical results reveal that internet development has contributed significantly to green economic growth. When the internet development level increases by 1 unit, the green economic growth level increases by an average of 5.0372 units. However, regional heterogeneity is evident between internet development and green economic growth, that is, the promoting effect of internet development on green economic growth is gradually enhanced from the eastern region to the western region. We also find that internet development guides industrial structure upgrading improves environmental quality and accelerates enterprise innovation, which indirectly contributes to green economic growth. And internet development mainly achieves green economic growth through enterprise innovation. Based on the above findings, we concluded that policymakers should not only strengthen the guiding role of social actors to promote the stable development of the internet industry, but also foster the construction of the three models of "internet+industry integration," "internet+environmental governance," and "internet+enterprise innovation" to promote green economic growth.

    Technological advances have ushered in the era of “e-services.” Scientists and academics are trying to determine how e-services affect citizens’ lives, satisfaction, and future service quality. As e-government emerges, this knowledge leads to improved frameworks for delivering e-services. This study examined the factors influencing Pakistanis to adopt e-government services, particularly those living abroad. Online surveys (structured questionnaires) were administered primarily among Pakistani citizens, including those residing in China and Turkey, via social media networking techniques. Purposive convenience sampling was used, 599 people were surveyed, and the results were considered complete enough to analyze. Structured equation modeling (SEM) and Amos were used to interpret quantitative research results. Results show that values are strongly correlated with expectations about others’ efforts. An invaluable feature of e-government services is their simplicity of use. It may be possible for policymakers to overcome barriers to e-government by using these research findings.

    Energy is the main element for a modern lifestyle that must be considered in economically reliable and sustainable development dialogues. The financial performance of solar power projects has become the main issue, especially in developing countries such as Pakistan, where it has gained the special attention of government and regulatory authorities. The present study evaluates green technology strategies for the sustainable development of solar power projects in Pakistan. We examine the moderating role of cost and riskiness of the methods between the nexus of capital budgeting techniques and the financial performance of solar power projects. The analysis is performed on data collected from 44 respondents (chief financial officers and chief executive officers) by accompanying an inclusive questionnaire survey. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) is used to assess the formulated suppositions. The results reveal that green technology strategies positively impact the sustainable development of solar power projects. The profitability index is a good source of higher financial performance of the solar power projects. The results further demonstrate that the cost and riskiness of the methods significantly moderate the nexus of capital budgeting techniques and the financial performance of solar power projects. These findings provide a valuable manual for policymakers, government institutions, and regulators to select the appropriate green technology strategy to increase cleaner production and sustainable development of solar power projects.

    Some of the globe’s most economically advanced nations make up the G7 (Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, United States and United Kingdom). Nevertheless, in tandem with such strong economic growth, the environmental conditions in these nations have deteriorated, raising serious issues among stakeholders. Therefore, we examine the effect of eco-innovation and trade openness on CO2 emissions in G7 nations. We also take into account the role of renewable energy, economic growth and nonrenewable energy use using a dataset covering the period from 1990–2019. We employed recent econometric techniques such as slope heterogeneity (SH) and cross-sectional dependence (CSD), Westerlund cointegration, fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS), dynamic ordinary least square (DOLS), panel quantile regression and panel causality tests to assess these associations. The outcomes of the CSD and SH tests disclosed that using a first-generation unit root test will produce biase outcomes. Furthermore, the outcomes of the Westerlund cointegration disclosed support long-run association between CO2 and its drivers. In addition, the results of the long-run estimators (FMOLS and DOLS) unveiled that nonrenewable energy and trade openness contribute to the damage to the environment while economic expansion, renewable energy and eco-innovation enhance the quality of the environment. Furthermore, the outcomes of GDP, REC and ECO curb CO2 while NREC energy and TO surge CO2. Finally, the outcomes of the panel causality test unveiled that CO2 emissions can be predicted by all the exogenous variables.

    This study aims to assess the performance of thermophysical materials in the construction and building industry to establish the necessary academic basis for the interpretation of trends, developments, and status in this research field. The Scopus database contains 159 papers on this topic, which were published between 1968 and 2021 and originated in 60 countries. The International Organization for Standardization published significant information on thermal insulating materials, merchandize, elements, and applications. Several forms of insulation currently exist: (i) solid-state foam insulation composed of fibers, grains, and matrix; (ii) liquid-state insulation that encloses humidity within the filling; and (iii) gasifier form, which incorporates air, steam, or alternative gases. To reduce the amount of energy demanded, thermal insulation materials must be extended, current solutions must be modified, and new materials must be developed. Because high-temperature thermal insulation materials have more complex working conditions than alternative materials, their application requires further consideration.

    In the context of ecological environment construction, how to create a new development pattern in which environment and economy are coordinated has become an important goal of the Chinese government. From the perspective of the symbiotic development of resource-based industries and non-resource industries, this study discusses the path of green credit optimization of energy consumption structure by using the space Durbin model, based on the panel data from 30 Chinese provinces from 2006 to 2019. The study results are as follows: Both green credit and energy consumption structure have a significant positive spatial correlation. Furthermore, the energy consumption structure of local and adjacent areas is significantly optimized by green credit. Additionally, for non-resource-based regions, although green credit has no spatial spillover, it can significantly improve the local energy consumption structure, while green credit in resource-based regions significantly inhibits the optimization of the energy consumption structure in local and adjacent regions. Finally, from the perspective of the symbiotic development of resource-based industries and non-resource industries, although green credit can significantly improve the local energy consumption structure, it will inhibit the optimization of the energy consumption structure in adjacent areas. Therefore, government departments not only need to implement green credit policies according to local conditions but also actively guide exchanges and cooperation between resource-based industries and non-resource industries. This move promotes the symbiotic development of resource-based industries and non-resource industries and simultaneously improves the utilization efficiency of green credit, and optimizes the energy consumption structure.

    The energy needs of India have increased many folds in recent years due to industrialization and ever-increasing population. Wind energy offers excellent opportunities in fulfilling the energy needs of the country. Being renewable, it has enormous resource potential. Since the last decade, the wind energy sector has progressed very quickly. India ranks 4th in the world in terms of installed wind capacity. The cumulative installed capacity has reached 35,288 MW, grabbing 6% global share. Meanwhile, various factors are affecting the development of the wind power industry. This paper aims to identify and analyze the critical factors that are significantly affecting the development and competitiveness of the Indian wind industry. For this purpose, we have adopted the Diamond model approach. After careful analysis, we have found that these factors are: demand condition, factor condition, chance, related and support industry, firm strategy, structure, rivalry, and government. All the factors identified in this model are influencing the wind industry’s competitiveness from a different angle. Thus, these factors should be strengthened for the long-term development of the wind industry. Research findings reveal the present status, challenges, and future projections of the wind power industry. Essential policy recommendations have been offered for the sustainable development of this sector. Government and stakeholders can take benefit from this research by understanding the dynamic relationship among all the factors influencing the development of the wind power industry and make procurement strategies accordingly.     Due to China's massive usage of fossil fuels, climate change concerns have become serious challenges to the country's sustainable development. Despite the fact that China has effectively employed solar technology to address these problems, there is a paucity of research examining consumers' intention to adopt solar energy in the rural region of China. This study intends to fill this gap in the literature by studying consumers' buying intentions for solar energy in rural China for household purposes. Additionally, the study added to the theory of planned behavior by adding three new variables, namely, environmental knowledge, environmental concern, and beliefs about the benefits of solar energy. Primary data were collected from 847 respondents in Hebei Province using a comprehensive questionnaire survey. Structural equation modeling was employed to examine the data. Empirical results revealed that attitude, environmental knowledge, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and beliefs about the benefits of solar energy positively influence buying intention of solar energy. On the contrary, environmental concern had no significant effect on buying intention for solar energy. Study outcomes emphasize the critical significance of changing societal norms, boosting consumer awareness, redesigning regulatory mechanisms, and stressing the benefits provided by solar power through coherent and persistent efforts while simultaneously enhancing environmental sustainability practices.

    Durante la última década, los principales países del sur de Asia (Pakistán, India y Bangladesh) han utilizado efectivamente la electricidad eólica para evitar futuras dificultades energéticas. Sin embargo, la industria eólica está siendo influenciada por una amplia gama de factores. El objetivo de este estudio es desarrollar un modelo de cadena de valor para la industria de la energía eólica del sur de Asia, analizar los factores internos y externos para analizar la viabilidad de la condición actual y la hoja de ruta futura para fomentar el sector de la energía eólica mediante la adopción del modelo de Fortalezas, Debilidades, Oportunidades y Amenazas (FODA). En primer lugar, se desarrolló un nuevo modelo de cadena de valor para la industria eólica. En segundo lugar, identificamos los factores sociales, económicos y ambientales, que influyen significativamente en la competitividad y el desarrollo de la industria eólica a través de un examen claro y preciso de las fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas en la perspectiva del sur de Asia. Au cours de la dernière décennie, les principaux pays d'Asie du Sud (Pakistan, Inde et Bangladesh) ont efficacement utilisé l'électricité éolienne pour éviter de futures difficultés énergétiques. Cependant, l'industrie éolienne est influencée par un large éventail de facteurs. L'objectif de cette étude est de développer un modèle de chaîne de valeur pour l'industrie éolienne sud-asiatique, d'examiner les facteurs internes et externes pour analyser la viabilité de l'état actuel et de la feuille de route future pour favoriser le secteur de l'énergie éolienne en adoptant le modèle SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats). Tout d'abord, un nouveau modèle de chaîne de valeur a été développé pour l'industrie éolienne. During the last decade, the major South Asian countries (Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh) have effectively utilized wind electricity to avoid future energy predicament. However, the wind industry is being influenced by a diverse range of factors. The aim of this study is to develop a value chain model for the South Asian wind power industry, scrutinize both internal and external factors to analyze the viability of present condition and future roadmap to foster the wind energy sector by adopting Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) model. Firstly, a novel value chain model was developed for the wind industry. Secondly, we identified the social, economic, and environmental factors, significantly influencing the competitiveness and development of the wind industry through clear and precise examination of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the South Asian perspective. A total of 19 factors were identified and analyzed. Research findings indicate the current situation and future projections of the wind industry in a competitive environment. Finally, we suggested essential policy measures to stabilize the wind industry's growth.     As the digital economy develops rapidly and the network information technology advances, new development models represented by the network economy have emerged, which have a crucial impact on green economic growth. However, the relevant previous studies lacked the role of analyzing the direct and indirect effects of internet development on green economic growth at the prefecture-level city level. For this purpose, this paper aims to examine the intrinsic mechanism of the impact of internet development on green economic growth and provide empirical support for cities and regions in China to increase internet construction. Furthermore, the mixed model (EBM), which includes both radial and non-radial distance functions, is applied to calculate the green economic growth index. Fixed effect model and mediation effect model are also employed to test influence mechanisms of the internet development on green economic growth using panel data of 269 prefecture-level cities in China from 2004 to 2019. The statistical results reveal that internet development has contributed significantly to green economic growth. When the internet development level increases by 1 unit, the green economic growth level increases by an average of 5.0372 units. However, regional heterogeneity is evident between internet development and green economic growth, that is, the promoting effect of internet development on green economic growth is gradually enhanced from the eastern region to the western region. We also find that internet development guides industrial structure upgrading improves environmental quality and accelerates enterprise innovation, which indirectly contributes to green economic growth. And internet development mainly achieves green economic growth through enterprise innovation. Based on the above findings, we concluded that policymakers should not only strengthen the guiding role of social actors to promote the stable development of the internet industry, but also foster the construction of the three models of "internet+industry integration," "internet+environmental governance," and "internet+enterprise innovation" to promote green economic growth.

    Technological advances have ushered in the era of “e-services.” Scientists and academics are trying to determine how e-services affect citizens’ lives, satisfaction, and future service quality. As e-government emerges, this knowledge leads to improved frameworks for delivering e-services. This study examined the factors influencing Pakistanis to adopt e-government services, particularly those living abroad. Online surveys (structured questionnaires) were administered primarily among Pakistani citizens, including those residing in China and Turkey, via social media networking techniques. Purposive convenience sampling was used, 599 people were surveyed, and the results were considered complete enough to analyze. Structured equation modeling (SEM) and Amos were used to interpret quantitative research results. Results show that values are strongly correlated with expectations about others’ efforts. An invaluable feature of e-government services is their simplicity of use. It may be possible for policymakers to overcome barriers to e-government by using these research findings.

    Energy is the main element for a modern lifestyle that must be considered in economically reliable and sustainable development dialogues. The financial performance of solar power projects has become the main issue, especially in developing countries such as Pakistan, where it has gained the special attention of government and regulatory authorities. The present study evaluates green technology strategies for the sustainable development of solar power projects in Pakistan. We examine the moderating role of cost and riskiness of the methods between the nexus of capital budgeting techniques and the financial performance of solar power projects. The analysis is performed on data collected from 44 respondents (chief financial officers and chief executive officers) by accompanying an inclusive questionnaire survey. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) is used to assess the formulated suppositions. The results reveal that green technology strategies positively impact the sustainable development of solar power projects. The profitability index is a good source of higher financial performance of the solar power projects. The results further demonstrate that the cost and riskiness of the methods significantly moderate the nexus of capital budgeting techniques and the financial performance of solar power projects. These findings provide a valuable manual for policymakers, government institutions, and regulators to select the appropriate green technology strategy to increase cleaner production and sustainable development of solar power projects.

    Some of the globe’s most economically advanced nations make up the G7 (Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, United States and United Kingdom). Nevertheless, in tandem with such strong economic growth, the environmental conditions in these nations have deteriorated, raising serious issues among stakeholders. Therefore, we examine the effect of eco-innovation and trade openness on CO2 emissions in G7 nations. We also take into account the role of renewable energy, economic growth and nonrenewable energy use using a dataset covering the period from 1990–2019. We employed recent econometric techniques such as slope heterogeneity (SH) and cross-sectional dependence (CSD), Westerlund cointegration, fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS), dynamic ordinary least square (DOLS), panel quantile regression and panel causality tests to assess these associations. The outcomes of the CSD and SH tests disclosed that using a first-generation unit root test will produce biase outcomes. Furthermore, the outcomes of the Westerlund cointegration disclosed support long-run association between CO2 and its drivers. In addition, the results of the long-run estimators (FMOLS and DOLS) unveiled that nonrenewable energy and trade openness contribute to the damage to the environment while economic expansion, renewable energy and eco-innovation enhance the quality of the environment. Furthermore, the outcomes of GDP, REC and ECO curb CO2 while NREC energy and TO surge CO2. Finally, the outcomes of the panel causality test unveiled that CO2 emissions can be predicted by all the exogenous variables.

    This study aims to assess the performance of thermophysical materials in the construction and building industry to establish the necessary academic basis for the interpretation of trends, developments, and status in this research field. The Scopus database contains 159 papers on this topic, which were published between 1968 and 2021 and originated in 60 countries. The International Organization for Standardization published significant information on thermal insulating materials, merchandize, elements, and applications. Several forms of insulation currently exist: (i) solid-state foam insulation composed of fibers, grains, and matrix; (ii) liquid-state insulation that encloses humidity within the filling; and (iii) gasifier form, which incorporates air, steam, or alternative gases. To reduce the amount of energy demanded, thermal insulation materials must be extended, current solutions must be modified, and new materials must be developed. Because high-temperature thermal insulation materials have more complex working conditions than alternative materials, their application requires further consideration.

    In the context of ecological environment construction, how to create a new development pattern in which environment and economy are coordinated has become an important goal of the Chinese government. From the perspective of the symbiotic development of resource-based industries and non-resource industries, this study discusses the path of green credit optimization of energy consumption structure by using the space Durbin model, based on the panel data from 30 Chinese provinces from 2006 to 2019. The study results are as follows: Both green credit and energy consumption structure have a significant positive spatial correlation. Furthermore, the energy consumption structure of local and adjacent areas is significantly optimized by green credit. Additionally, for non-resource-based regions, although green credit has no spatial spillover, it can significantly improve the local energy consumption structure, while green credit in resource-based regions significantly inhibits the optimization of the energy consumption structure in local and adjacent regions. Finally, from the perspective of the symbiotic development of resource-based industries and non-resource industries, although green credit can significantly improve the local energy consumption structure, it will inhibit the optimization of the energy consumption structure in adjacent areas. Therefore, government departments not only need to implement green credit policies according to local conditions but also actively guide exchanges and cooperation between resource-based industries and non-resource industries. This move promotes the symbiotic development of resource-based industries and non-resource industries and simultaneously improves the utilization efficiency of green credit, and optimizes the energy consumption structure.

    The energy needs of India have increased many folds in recent years due to industrialization and ever-increasing population. Wind energy offers excellent opportunities in fulfilling the energy needs of the country. Being renewable, it has enormous resource potential. Since the last decade, the wind energy sector has progressed very quickly. India ranks 4th in the world in terms of installed wind capacity. The cumulative installed capacity has reached 35,288 MW, grabbing 6% global share. Meanwhile, various factors are affecting the development of the wind power industry. This paper aims to identify and analyze the critical factors that are significantly affecting the development and competitiveness of the Indian wind industry. For this purpose, we have adopted the Diamond model approach. After careful analysis, we have found that these factors are: demand condition, factor condition, chance, related and support industry, firm strategy, structure, rivalry, and government. All the factors identified in this model are influencing the wind industry’s competitiveness from a different angle. Thus, these factors should be strengthened for the long-term development of the wind industry. Research findings reveal the present status, challenges, and future projections of the wind power industry. Essential policy recommendations have been offered for the sustainable development of this sector. Government and stakeholders can take benefit from this research by understanding the dynamic relationship among all the factors influencing the development of the wind power industry and make procurement strategies accordingly.     Due to China's massive usage of fossil fuels, climate change concerns have become serious challenges to the country's sustainable development. Despite the fact that China has effectively employed solar technology to address these problems, there is a paucity of research examining consumers' intention to adopt solar energy in the rural region of China. This study intends to fill this gap in the literature by studying consumers' buying intentions for solar energy in rural China for household purposes. Additionally, the study added to the theory of planned behavior by adding three new variables, namely, environmental knowledge, environmental concern, and beliefs about the benefits of solar energy. Primary data were collected from 847 respondents in Hebei Province using a comprehensive questionnaire survey. Structural equation modeling was employed to examine the data. Empirical results revealed that attitude, environmental knowledge, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and beliefs about the benefits of solar energy positively influence buying intention of solar energy. On the contrary, environmental concern had no significant effect on buying intention for solar energy. Study outcomes emphasize the critical significance of changing societal norms, boosting consumer awareness, redesigning regulatory mechanisms, and stressing the benefits provided by solar power through coherent and persistent efforts while simultaneously enhancing environmental sustainability practices.
