    Authors: Tabaglio V.;

    La Consulta per le Relazioni con i Paesi in Via di Sviluppo (CRPVS) è stata istituita nel dicembre 2007 dal Consiglio dell’allora Facoltà di Agraria dell’università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, con il compito di ricevere, catalogare e seguire le richieste di aiuto che periodicamente pervengono dalle varie istituzioni politiche, sociali e religiose dei Paesi in Via di Sviluppo. Si dà conto in breve della filosofia di azione della Consulta e dei vari programmi di sviluppo rurale intrapresi fino ad ora nei vari Paesi in via di Sviluppo.

    Authors: Galli Davide;

    Nel corso degli ultimi 20 anni, il livello di consapevolezza circa gli impatti ambientali e sociali che le attività economiche svolte dalle imprese producono nel proprio contesto è progressivamente cresciuto. Oggi tali impatti sono ormai entrati a far parte dei modelli di valutazione impiegati per definire la capacità di una impresa di generare valore nel tempo. Idealmente è possibile identificare un momento formale a partire dal quale questa consapevolezza ha trovato progressiva affermazione: si tratta della pubblicazione nel 1987 del cd. rapporto Brundtland Our Common Future da parte della Commissione mondiale per l’ambiente e lo sviluppo (WCED, 1987). In risposta a quelle che in principio erano identificate come preoccupazioni della collettività e dei portatori di interesse e che nel tempo hanno assunto sempre di più il ruolo di legittime aspettative, le imprese hanno cominciato ad adottare approcci contraddistinti da una sempre maggiore trasparenza in merito agli impatti generati. La riflessione proposta in questo capitolo prende le mosse dal riconoscimento della sostanziale importanza che le imprese, specie di grandi dimensioni, si impegnino a dotarsi di un quadro di strumenti di rendicontazione tra loro integrati, capace di fornire informazioni tanto sulle performance finanziarie quanto su quelle non finanziarie, restituendo periodicamente dati che aiutano a comprendere come le diverse tipologie di capitale di cui l’impresa si dota sono state impiegate per generare valore. Lo sviluppo di tale riflessione, nel proseguo del capitolo, propone anzitutto una ricognizione delle teorie che aiutano a comprendere perché un’impresa può trarre utilità dall’adozione di tale approccio. La seconda parte del capitolo assume un taglio più analitico prendendo a riferimento l’elenco delle imprese italiane descritto nell’introduzione.

    Authors: Rizzo Raffaela Gabriella; Paola Maria Rigobello; Veronica Scerra;

    Sicilia, desde hace siglos punto de unión de culturas y poblaciones, conserva todavía hoy un estrecha relación entre rasgos culturales antiguos y contemporáneos, relación que surge desde la observación del fenómeno del turismo cultural y, en este caso específico, del turismo musical. La investigación enfoca toda su atención en los territorios de Agrigento, Messina y Siracusa, donde se complica la red de antiguos teatros de piedra que albergan representaciones integral, por las características técnicas y funcionales de su uso original. Por tanto, en estas zonas se pueden observar el desarrollo del fenómeno del turismo musical, inicialmente clasificado en un contexto regional más amplio, para enfocar toda la atención en los parques arqueológicos de Taormina, el Valle de los Templos de Agrigento y de Siracusa. Aunque los datos disponibles no son sistemáticos y homogéneos, el análisis sobre los flujos turísticos resalta la intensidad de uso de los lugares, intensidad que, por un lado, caracteriza el fenómeno del turismo musical observado y, por otro, nos lleva a reflexionar sobre la criticidad que se considera en la investigación, especialmente en relación al teatro de Siracusa: la sostenibilidad del uso prolongado de la “piedra”, en relación a su protección y conservación. Un problema que necesitas respuestas en las acciones reguladoras y políticas, pero también en la mediación de los numerosos actores implicados. Sicily, for centuries considered the crossroads of cultures and populations, is still keeping nowadays a close relationship between ancient and contemporary cultural traits, a bound that was born from the observation of the phenomenon of cultural tourism and, in this specific case, musical tourism. The research focuses on the territories of Agrigento, Messina and Syracuse where the network of ancient stone theatres becomes thicker hosting theatrical and often musical performances, becoming not just a setting but also part and parcel, considered the technical and functional features of their original intended use. In these areas we can observe the development of the musical tourism phenomenon, early framed in a broader regional context, to focus on the archaeological parks of Taormina, of the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento and of Syracuse. Despite the available data are not systematic and homogeneous, the analysis made on tourist flows highlights the intensity of the access of the places, an intensity which on the one hand represents the musical tourism phenomenon observed, and on the other hand leads us to reason on the criticality considered in research, especially in comparison to the theatre of Syracuse: the sustainability of the prolonged use of the “stone”, in relation to its protection and conservation. A dilemma with forced answers in regulatory and policy measures, but also in the mediation of the many stakeholders involved. La Sicile, depuis longtemps creuset de différentes cultures et de traditions, garde encore un lien profond avec ses racines, qui vient de l’observation du phénomène du tourisme culturel et, en particulier, du tourisme musical. La recherche se consacre aux territoires de Messina, Agrigente et Syracuse avec leur réseau des théâtres de pierre; encore aujourd’hui ils accueillent des évènements théâtraux et souvent musicaux, en raison des caractères techniques et fonctionnels propres à leur utilisation originale. Ici on assiste au développement du tourisme musical, considéré d’abord dans un cadre régional plus ample, et après en relation avec les parcs archéologiques de Taormine, de la Vallée des Temples d’Agrigente et de Syracuse. Bien que les données disponibles ne soient ni systématiques ni homogènes, l’analyse des flux touristiques montre des pics de fréquentation qui touchent ces territoires. Il faut donc s’interroger sur la façon de concilier l’attractivité locale avec la soutenabilité et la préservation des sites, pour le théâtre de Syracuse en particulier. C’est une question qui demande des stratégies soit gouvernementales soit de la part de tous les acteurs du tourisme.

    Authors: Sandrini S;

    The ecological transition is an ambitious scenario and a stimulus for post-pandemic recovery and resilience. It must be inclusive and will require the collaboration of each and every one to produce substantial changes. This multiple transformative process can be supported by an integral ecological consciousness and by the pedagogical reflection, which is challenged to interpret ambiguities and reductionisms of it, to guide the trust of the many towards the authentic common good. Ecological transition can be a sustainable development, a fraternity aspiration, an educational opportunity. Humanity is faced with multiple threats including ecological crisis, global warming, inaccessibility to essential ecosystem services, global health insecurity, spread of injustice and poverty. In the context, lifelong education must trigger processes that promote human development, social transformation and in so doing generating learning for the good life. “To realize” an authentic life both in personal and within communities, it’s essential to re-establish the connection between the sustainable development, the underlying anthropological paradigm and everyday habits. In the material culture, where choices both individual and collectives need to be made from food to mobility, from energy to living and from consumption to work, a learning anchored in values as well as technical aspects for a human and fraternal green future is required. La transizione ecologica, scenario ambizioso e leva progettuale per la ripresa e la resilienza post-pandemica, può essere sostenuta da una coscienza ecologica integrale, che deve farsi inclusiva, poiché cambiamenti sostanziali richiederanno la collaborazione di tutti e ciascuno. La riflessione pedagogica è interpellata da questo processo trasformativo molteplice, perché sappia interpretarne le ambiguità e i riduzionismi, orientando la fiducia dei molti verso forme di vero bene comune. Transizione ecologica come sviluppo, fraternità, possibilità educativa. Dinnanzi alla crisi ecologica e alla minaccia del global warming, dell’inaccessibilità ai servizi ecosistemici essenziali, dell’insicurezza sanitaria, dell’ingiustizia e della povertà, l’educazione lungo tutto l’arco della vita deve ambire ad innescare processi di crescita umana e di trasformazione sociale in grado di generare apprendimenti per la vita buona. Riallacciando la stretta connessione che esiste tra la sostenibilità dello sviluppo, il paradigma antropologico soggiacente e gli habitus nel quotidiano, “realizzare” la vita personale e comunitaria oggi implica imparare ad ancorare la cultura materiale delle scelte individuali e collettive – dal cibo alla mobilità, dall’energia all’abitare, dal consumo al lavoro – ad aspetti valoriali oltre che tecnici, per un futuro green più umano e fraterno.

    La produzione di metano attraverso la digestione anaerobica a partire da biomasse residuali sta assumendo un ruolo di crescente importanza nel panorama energetico mondiale. Tuttavia pochi sono i dati disponibili in Letteratura sui bilanci di massa ed energia per il processo di digestione anaerobica, che sono invece di grande interesse sia per condurre studi di fattibilità che per eseguire una corretta progettazione degli impianti. Nel presente lavoro sono descritte le attività che il Centro di Ricerca sulle Biomasse sta portando avanti nel settore della digestione anaerobica. Sono riportati i risultati di prime prove sperimentali di digestione anaerobica condotte su campioni di alghe di lago, impiegando come digestori recipienti di vetro ermeticamente chiusi. Sono illustrate le fasi di progettazione e realizzazione di un digestore da laboratorio di tipo batch, dotato di un sistema di monitoraggio ed acquisizione dei principali parametri di processo; infine è descritto un gasometro per il monitoraggio della produzione giornaliera di biogas in fase di realizzazione presso i laboratori del Centro.

    The research moves from the current global and local context and from shared development strategies. From the observation and the analysis of contemporary environmental and energy issues and redefined directions of growth of human activity, it is addressing the question of environmental sustainability and energy conservation of building hospital systems. The work has developed a field survey relating the specific topic of energy saving and efficiency of the Park Hospital in the Italian Lombardy Region. This has been articulated in a diagnosis of technology and efficiency of regional hospitals, implemented through a census, and in a subsequent identification of interventional cases, in order to show its economic, environmental and health performance of the energy efficiency consumption and the environmentally sound.

    Authors: Galli Davide;

    Nel corso degli ultimi 20 anni, il livello di consapevolezza circa gli impatti ambientali e sociali che le attività economiche svolte dalle imprese producono nel proprio contesto è progressivamente cresciuto. Oggi tali impatti sono ormai entrati a far parte dei modelli di valutazione impiegati per definire la capacità di una impresa di generare valore nel tempo. Idealmente è possibile identificare un momento formale a partire dal quale questa consapevolezza ha trovato progressiva affermazione: si tratta della pubblicazione nel 1987 del cd. rapporto Brundtland Our Common Future da parte della Commissione mondiale per l’ambiente e lo sviluppo (WCED, 1987). In risposta a quelle che in principio erano identificate come preoccupazioni della collettività e dei portatori di interesse e che nel tempo hanno assunto sempre di più il ruolo di legittime aspettative, le imprese hanno cominciato ad adottare approcci contraddistinti da una sempre maggiore trasparenza in merito agli impatti generati. La riflessione proposta in questo capitolo prende le mosse dal riconoscimento della sostanziale importanza che le imprese, specie di grandi dimensioni, si impegnino a dotarsi di un quadro di strumenti di rendicontazione tra loro integrati, capace di fornire informazioni tanto sulle performance finanziarie quanto su quelle non finanziarie, restituendo periodicamente dati che aiutano a comprendere come le diverse tipologie di capitale di cui l’impresa si dota sono state impiegate per generare valore. Lo sviluppo di tale riflessione, nel proseguo del capitolo, propone anzitutto una ricognizione delle teorie che aiutano a comprendere perché un’impresa può trarre utilità dall’adozione di tale approccio. La seconda parte del capitolo assume un taglio più analitico prendendo a riferimento l’elenco delle imprese italiane descritto nell’introduzione.

    Sicilia, desde hace siglos punto de unión de culturas y poblaciones, conserva todavía hoy un estrecha relación entre rasgos culturales antiguos y contemporáneos, relación que surge desde la observación del fenómeno del turismo cultural y, en este caso específico, del turismo musical. La investigación enfoca toda su atención en los territorios de Agrigento, Messina y Siracusa, donde se complica la red de antiguos teatros de piedra que albergan representaciones integral, por las características técnicas y funcionales de su uso original. Por tanto, en estas zonas se pueden observar el desarrollo del fenómeno del turismo musical, inicialmente clasificado en un contexto regional más amplio, para enfocar toda la atención en los parques arqueológicos de Taormina, el Valle de los Templos de Agrigento y de Siracusa. Aunque los datos disponibles no son sistemáticos y homogéneos, el análisis sobre los flujos turísticos resalta la intensidad de uso de los lugares, intensidad que, por un lado, caracteriza el fenómeno del turismo musical observado y, por otro, nos lleva a reflexionar sobre la criticidad que se considera en la investigación, especialmente en relación al teatro de Siracusa: la sostenibilidad del uso prolongado de la “piedra”, en relación a su protección y conservación. Un problema que necesitas respuestas en las acciones reguladoras y políticas, pero también en la mediación de los numerosos actores implicados. Sicily, for centuries considered the crossroads of cultures and populations, is still keeping nowadays a close relationship between ancient and contemporary cultural traits, a bound that was born from the observation of the phenomenon of cultural tourism and, in this specific case, musical tourism. The research focuses on the territories of Agrigento, Messina and Syracuse where the network of ancient stone theatres becomes thicker hosting theatrical and often musical performances, becoming not just a setting but also part and parcel, considered the technical and functional features of their original intended use. In these areas we can observe the development of the musical tourism phenomenon, early framed in a broader regional context, to focus on the archaeological parks of Taormina, of the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento and of Syracuse. Despite the available data are not systematic and homogeneous, the analysis made on tourist flows highlights the intensity of the access of the places, an intensity which on the one hand represents the musical tourism phenomenon observed, and on the other hand leads us to reason on the criticality considered in research, especially in comparison to the theatre of Syracuse: the sustainability of the prolonged use of the “stone”, in relation to its protection and conservation. A dilemma with forced answers in regulatory and policy measures, but also in the mediation of the many stakeholders involved. La Sicile, depuis longtemps creuset de différentes cultures et de traditions, garde encore un lien profond avec ses racines, qui vient de l’observation du phénomène du tourisme culturel et, en particulier, du tourisme musical. La recherche se consacre aux territoires de Messina, Agrigente et Syracuse avec leur réseau des théâtres de pierre; encore aujourd’hui ils accueillent des évènements théâtraux et souvent musicaux, en raison des caractères techniques et fonctionnels propres à leur utilisation originale. Ici on assiste au développement du tourisme musical, considéré d’abord dans un cadre régional plus ample, et après en relation avec les parcs archéologiques de Taormine, de la Vallée des Temples d’Agrigente et de Syracuse. Bien que les données disponibles ne soient ni systématiques ni homogènes, l’analyse des flux touristiques montre des pics de fréquentation qui touchent ces territoires. Il faut donc s’interroger sur la façon de concilier l’attractivité locale avec la soutenabilité et la préservation des sites, pour le théâtre de Syracuse en particulier. C’est une question qui demande des stratégies soit gouvernementales soit de la part de tous les acteurs du tourisme.

    Authors: Sandrini S;
