The dataset of straw effects on crop yield, soil properties and greenhouse gases emissions
The published studies used for database construction until October 2020. The literature was gathered using databases such as Web of Science, Elsevier, Google Scholar, and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, with the keywords ‘straw return’ or ‘straw mulching’ or ‘crop residue’ and ‘greenhouse gas’ or ‘soil properties’ or ‘crop yield’. The data were compiled from publications that detailed greenhouse gases emissions and soil properties of concern and compared the effects of various agricultural management practices on these properties with and without straw amendment. All experiments were conducted in the field.
