Contamination of aquatic environments by untreated municipal wastewater discharges is a serious problem that remains unresolved in many parts of the world. Increase of chemical fertilizers is another environmental problem that is being managed with growing attention due to the serious consequences that can result from the application of chemical fertilizers in agriculture. This paper will try to help in the resolution of these problems or try to offer remedy to reduce harmful effects of the mentioned problems. The present work is based on obtaining the biomass of microalgae by means of high load lagoons for wastewater treatment and carrying out an agronomic experiment, using the biomass obtained as a biofertilizer to grow lettuce. Therefore, the work is divided into two parts: 1) obtaining the biomass from microalgae and 2) application of the biomass as biofertilizer. The microalgae treatment plant is located in the facilities of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DECA) of the UPC-BarcelonaTech. The work describes the treatment plant, analyzes its operation and presents the results obtained. A good performance of the system was observed, and acceptable water quality values were obtained, comparable with other previous works. The agronomic experiment was carried out in the greenhouse of the Barcelona School of Agri-Food and Biosystems Engineering of the UPC-BarcelonaTech. The culture selected for the study was Lactuca sativa L., cv. Arena. For the analysis of the biofertilizer effect, the chlorophyll concentration of the leaves was measured, as well as the fresh and dry weight of the leaves, and the dry weight of the roots was also measured. The results indicated an improvement in the growth and state of the plants treated with microalgae biomass.

[EN] In this TFG, it is going to be a research about the efficiency of a wind park, and it will be compared with the same park, but with superconductor generator. It will be studied the feasibility about both parks, and who of this it’s more profitable. In this research it will be assessed different places and it will be argued who place is better and why. Also, it will be researched who of three generators is better for the park. Once we have calculated our wind park, it will be calculated the same park, but changing the conventional generators for superconductor generators, and it will be compared. After, it will be argued who is the best technology for the wind park and it will be reconsidered the method of the study, providing improvementsor variations that can modify the resolution.

Nuclear energy is a complex technology that requires intensive use of resources and high centralized decision-making processes, whose governance poses a real challenge for democratic societies. In this article we explore the social perceptions about nuclear energy in Spain through the analysis of opinion surveys and secondary data about the main actors of three case studies (Vandellós I, Valdecaballeros, and Radioactive Waste Storage). The results show how the arguments of the several actors are based on very different dimensions of risk, often ignored in the surveys and by the actors, which represents a serious difficulty to overcome the controversies caused by this type of energy.

We consider two cases, one with a non-linear dependence of the radial density and the other with a generalized energy generation rate. The integration theory of the generalized hypergeometric functions is applied to evaluate analitically the rate of nuclear energy generation. Some known results follow as particular cases of our formulae established here.
