Since the COVID-19 outbreak, online learning has become the norm. Primary school students require parental assistance and supervision due to their lack of digital media capabilities and safety concerns. This study uses the mixed research method to process and analyze the interview data of 10 primary school parents and 564 questionnaire data using topic coding and partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) to explore the factors influencing primary school parents’ choice of online learning and the mechanism of these factors on choice intention. The results show that online learning continuity and learning attitude development risk are two new variables affecting parents’ cognition of online learning. They have a significant positive impact on performance evaluation and risk perception. Perceived ease of use, performance evaluation, and perceived cost affect parents’ assessment of their children’s satisfaction with online learning during the pandemic. Parents’ satisfaction with online learning positively affects their intention to choose online learning. The results of this study can provide a reference for education departments and schools on how to carry out online teaching with higher quality in case of emergencies.

This can be done by organizing learning object in a prescribed manner and it can be reused in feature. Such reusable learning objects are enhanced further to become adaptive reusable learning objects that are virtually cognitive and responsive towards the specific needs of the user/customer. This paper proposes the cognitive architecture to offer an adaptive reusable objects (RLO) based on individual profile of e-learner besides their cognitive behaviour while learning.

The study uses the database of Scopus and applies a filter about the timeline from 1982 to 2021(ongoing factorial); filters out the segment in various disciplines, integrated with the field of CSR and education. The findings of the study are as follow: there is a constant increase in the contribution of CSR and education every year after 2000; there is an increase in contributions from various disciplines on CSR and education; and major contribution about the literature being done through articles; followed by book chapters, and book review. A substantial part of these fuels is used for generation of power. Thus, conservation of electricity can slow down the decaying of these fuels, expenditure of money and environmental pollution. Educational institutes are one of the leading consumers of power. There are a lot of opportunities by which electricity in institutes can be preserved. This study explores and analyzes building-wise and equipment-wise energy consumption during the summer season in a typical institute located in the north-eastern part of India. The possibilities of curbing electricity, money, fossil fuel and the emission of greenhouse gas have also been investigated in the paper. It has emerged from the result that electric fans and lighting arrangements draw maximum electricity in summer. They devour 72.99% of the total energy used in the institute. Adoption of some simple methods for energy conservation can save 13,779.60 kWh of electricity and 35.39% of its bill per month. Thus, 3030.91 kg of natural gas can be retained and consequently, 15,114.88 kg of greenhouse gas can be prevented from emission.

This is a function pre-installed or naturally exists in every human being to show his/her existence by language. Thus, every student certainly needs effective and impressive communication skills. As a result, there are growing expectations from educational institutions to cater the needs of the workplace. One of the major issues we need to address includes, what measures should be taken to make the students work-ready‘? In this perspective, Teachers have an important role to play in enhancing the communication skills among students. Considering the diversity in the classroom, there is a growing demand to use innovative methods and strategies, including framing good quality instructional resources to enhance various sub-skills of communication among our students. An attempt is made in this article, to contribute to the ongoing discussion in the changing contexts of communication skills from the perspective of preparing our students to face future challenges. Language proficiency scales (LPS) are widely used in testing and assessment. Research on how to apply LPS in guiding learning, especially in terms of goal setting, is limited. Goals based on LPS can guide students’ learning, diagnose their problems, and provide a benchmark for achievement assessment. Mixed methods were used to investigate the effect of goal setting on reading achievement and students’ experience of the new approach. China’s Standard of English Proficiency Scales (CSE)-based goals were used to guide students’ reading. The quasi-experiment revealed that students’ test scores were significantly improved; the interview proved that students were generally positive about this way of learning. This study is significant in tapping the more profound value of LPS and has some enlightenment in language learning. The small sample size is one limitation of this study. Students’ achievements and engagement should be examined in future research.

Sridhar Acharya;Present education system is concentrating in imparting the quality education to the student community with the help of various electric and electronic equipments like computer, Internet facility, audio visual classrooms, video conferencing facility, LCD Projectors, wi-fi facility etc. In this regard the uses of the various electric and electronic equipments in the teaching field should be optimized and students should be trained in optimal utilization of the same. Continuous use of the above mentioned equipments in the education system need the routine auditing activity to keep the facilities in good condition. The routine auditing activity helps in optimal usage of the equipments, diagnosis of the electrical leakage and maintenance of the equipments. This routine auditing activity helps in minimum usage of the power, avoiding the unnecessary waste. The result of the routine auditing and optimal utilization improves the performance of the devices. The life span of the devices will be improved due to this regular auditing activity which results in reduction of the maintenance cost for the institution. This paper contains the techniques suggested for auditing activity in an education system taking Srinivas Institute of Management Studies as an example. The paper contains the study on the electricity distribution system in the education institutions, the various electrical and electronic devices used in the institutions with the individual power consumption, and need for auditing. The paper contains the charts showing the consumption of electricity with respect to time at Srinivas Institute of Management Studies. This paper also contains some suggestions to be implemented where green technology can also be used where ever possible and the methods to minimize the wastage in the system.

Institutions of higher learning have made persistent efforts to provide students with a high-quality education. Educational data mining (EDM) enables academic institutions to gain insight into student data in order to extract information for making predictions. COVID-19 represents the most catastrophic pandemic in human history. As a result of the global pandemic, all educational systems were shifted to online learning (OL). Due to issues with accessing the internet, disinterest, and a lack of available tools, online education has proven challenging for many students. Acquiring accurate education has emerged as a major goal for the future of this popular medium of education. Therefore, the focus of this research was to identifying attributes that could help in students’ performance prediction through a generalizable model achieving precision education in online education. The dataset used in this research was compiled from a survey taken primarily during the academic year of COVID-19, which was taken from the perspective of Pakistani university students. Five machine learning (ML) regressors were used in order to train the model, and its results were then analyzed. Comparatively, SVM has outperformed the other methods, yielding 87.5% accuracy, which was the highest of all the models tested. After that, an efficient hybrid ensemble model of machine learning was used to predict student performance using NB, KNN, SVM, decision tree, and logical regression during the COVID-19 period, yielding outclass results. Finally, the accuracy obtained through the hybrid ensemble model was obtained as 98.6%, which demonstrated that the hybrid ensemble learning model has performed better than any other model for predicting the performance of students.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, online learning has become the norm. Primary school students require parental assistance and supervision due to their lack of digital media capabilities and safety concerns. This study uses the mixed research method to process and analyze the interview data of 10 primary school parents and 564 questionnaire data using topic coding and partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) to explore the factors influencing primary school parents’ choice of online learning and the mechanism of these factors on choice intention. The results show that online learning continuity and learning attitude development risk are two new variables affecting parents’ cognition of online learning. They have a significant positive impact on performance evaluation and risk perception. Perceived ease of use, performance evaluation, and perceived cost affect parents’ assessment of their children’s satisfaction with online learning during the pandemic. Parents’ satisfaction with online learning positively affects their intention to choose online learning. The results of this study can provide a reference for education departments and schools on how to carry out online teaching with higher quality in case of emergencies.

A substantial part of these fuels is used for generation of power. Thus, conservation of electricity can slow down the decaying of these fuels, expenditure of money and environmental pollution. Educational institutes are one of the leading consumers of power. There are a lot of opportunities by which electricity in institutes can be preserved. This study explores and analyzes building-wise and equipment-wise energy consumption during the summer season in a typical institute located in the north-eastern part of India. The possibilities of curbing electricity, money, fossil fuel and the emission of greenhouse gas have also been investigated in the paper. It has emerged from the result that electric fans and lighting arrangements draw maximum electricity in summer. They devour 72.99% of the total energy used in the institute. Adoption of some simple methods for energy conservation can save 13,779.60 kWh of electricity and 35.39% of its bill per month. Thus, 3030.91 kg of natural gas can be retained and consequently, 15,114.88 kg of greenhouse gas can be prevented from emission.

Language proficiency scales (LPS) are widely used in testing and assessment. Research on how to apply LPS in guiding learning, especially in terms of goal setting, is limited. Goals based on LPS can guide students’ learning, diagnose their problems, and provide a benchmark for achievement assessment. Mixed methods were used to investigate the effect of goal setting on reading achievement and students’ experience of the new approach. China’s Standard of English Proficiency Scales (CSE)-based goals were used to guide students’ reading. The quasi-experiment revealed that students’ test scores were significantly improved; the interview proved that students were generally positive about this way of learning. This study is significant in tapping the more profound value of LPS and has some enlightenment in language learning. The small sample size is one limitation of this study. Students’ achievements and engagement should be examined in future research.

This paper contains the techniques suggested for auditing activity in an education system taking Srinivas Institute of Management Studies as an example. The paper contains the study on the electricity distribution system in the education institutions, the various electrical and electronic devices used in the institutions with the individual power consumption, and need for auditing. The paper contains the charts showing the consumption of electricity with respect to time at Srinivas Institute of Management Studies. Institutions of higher learning have made persistent efforts to provide students with a high-quality education. Educational data mining (EDM) enables academic institutions to gain insight into student data in order to extract information for making predictions. COVID-19 represents the most catastrophic pandemic in human history. As a result of the global pandemic, all educational systems were shifted to online learning (OL). Due to issues with accessing the internet, disinterest, and a lack of available tools, online education has proven challenging for many students. Acquiring accurate education has emerged as a major goal for the future of this popular medium of education. Therefore, the focus of this research was to identifying attributes that could help in students’ performance prediction through a generalizable model achieving precision education in online education. The dataset used in this research was compiled from a survey taken primarily during the academic year of COVID-19, which was taken from the perspective of Pakistani university students. Five machine learning (ML) regressors were used in order to train the model, and its results were then analyzed. Comparatively, SVM has outperformed the other methods, yielding 87.5% accuracy, which was the highest of all the models tested. After that, an efficient hybrid ensemble model of machine learning was used to predict student performance using NB, KNN, SVM, decision tree, and logical regression during the COVID-19 period, yielding outclass results. Finally, the accuracy obtained through the hybrid ensemble model was obtained as 98.6%, which demonstrated that the hybrid ensemble learning model has performed better than any other model for predicting the performance of students.

Significant differences were found between the male and female students, and between rural and urban students. On the other hand, significant differences were found in the case of awareness on muga culture between Arts and Science stream students, and Arts & Commerce stream students.
