(Lázaro);Seawater warming and increased incidence of marine heatwaves (MHW) are threatening the integrity of coastal marine habitats including seagrasses, which are particularly vulnerable to climate changes. Novel stress tolerance-enhancing strategies, including thermo-priming, have been extensively applied in terrestrial plants for enhancing resilience capacity under the re-occurrence of a stress event. We applied, for the first time in seedlings of the Mediterranean seagrass Posidonia oceanica, a thermo-priming treatment through the exposure to a simulated warming event. We analyzed the photo-physiological and growth performance of primed and non-primed seedlings, and the gene expression responses of selected genes (i.e. stress-, photosynthesis- and epigenetic-related genes). Results revealed that during the re-occurring stress event, primed seedlings performed better than unprimed showing unaltered photo-physiology supported by high expression levels of genes related to stress response, photosynthesis, and epigenetic modifications. These findings offer new opportunities to improve conservation and restoration efforts in a future scenario of environmental changes.

Stengel; Juan M. Ruiz;Global warming is emerging as one of the most critical threats to terrestrial and marine species worldwide. This study assessed the effects of simulated warming events in culture on two seagrass species, Posidonia oceanica and Cymodocea nodosa, which play a key role in coastal ecosystems of the Mediterranean Sea. Changes in fatty acids as key metabolic indicators were assessed in specimens from two geographical populations of each species adapted to different in situ temperature regimes. Total fatty acid (TFA) content and composition were compared in C. nodosa and P. oceanica from natural populations and following exposure to heat stress in culture. After heat exposure, individuals of C. nodosa and P. oceanica adapted to colder temperatures in situ accumulated significantly more TFA than controls. For both species, the proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) decreased, and the percentage of saturated fatty acids (SFA) increased significantly after the heat treatment. These results highlight that populations of both species living at warmest temperatures in situ were more thermo-tolerant and exhibited a greater capacity to cope with heat stress by readjusting their lipid composition faster. Finally, exposure of seagrasses to warmer conditions may induce a decrease in PUFA/SFA ratio which could negatively affect their nutritional value and generate important consequences in the healthy state of next trophic levels.

While much is known about the factors that control each component of the terrestrial nitrogen (N) cycle, it is less clear how these factors affect total N availability, the sum of organic and inorganic forms potentially available to microorganisms and plants. This is particularly true for N-poor ecosystems such as drylands, which are highly sensitive to climate change and desertification processes that can lead to the loss of soil nutrients such as N. We evaluated how different climatic, abiotic, plant and nutrient related factors correlate with N availability in semiarid Stipa tenacissima grasslands along a broad aridity gradient from Spain to Tunisia. Aridity had the strongest relationship with N availability, suggesting the importance of abiotic controls on the N cycle in drylands. Aridity appeared to modulate the effects of pH, plant cover and organic C (OC) on N availability. Our results suggest that N transformation rates, which are largely driven by variations in soil moisture, are not the direct drivers of N availability in the studied grasslands. Rather, the strong relationship between aridity and N availability could be driven by indirect effects that operate over long time scales (decades to millennia), including both biotic (e.g. plant cover) and abiotic (e.g. soil OC and pH). If these factors are in fact more important than short-term effects of precipitation on N transformation rates, then we might expect to observe a lagged decrease in N availability in response to increasing aridity. LISA cruise has the objective of acquiring new geophysical data in a mostly unexplored region of the SW Iberia Margin, about which many questions exist posing problems to geological interpretation. The LISA cruise acquired geophysical data along a profile (the LISA profile) that cuts across the Ampere seamount, the West Horseshoe Abyssal Palin, the plate boundary region and intersection of the Tore-Madeira Rise with the Gloria fault, and the Atlantic oceanic crust. The cruise consisted on the acquisition of wide angle seismic reflection anf refraction data using 21 OBH from GEOMAR-Kiel and the UTM seismic source. Additional data acquired: magnetic, multibeam bathymetry and backscatter and parasound. Oceanographic data acquired during the LISA Cruise (29SG20220616) on board the Research Vessel Sarmiento de Gamboa in 2022.

13th International Conference on Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies, GHGT-13, 14-18 November 2016, Lausanne, Switzerland A calcium looping (CaL) process is a carbon capture technology which utilizes calcium oxide to remove carbon dioxide from the flue gas of a power plant. Like most capture technologies, CaL process has a high energy demand, which reduces power plant efficiency. The energy penalty and the operating and capital costs of the unit can be reduced by increasing the concentration of O2 in the oxidant flow to calciner. In this study, a calciner has been studied with a three dimensional, steady-state, CFB process model. First, the model was validated by test data of the calciner in la Pereda CaL pilot. Next, a 3D model was created for a 200 MWth commercial scale calciner, in which the inlet oxygen concentration was increased up to 75% to map the potentials of improving the heat balance of the system and to investigate how the calciner operates in these conditions. Based on the simulations, the CaL process is feasible even at very high inlet oxygen concentration. Les méthodes de réduction d'échelle statistiques sont des outils de post-traitement populaires qui sont largement utilisés dans de nombreux secteurs pour adapter les résultats biaisés à résolution grossière des simulations climatiques mondiales à l'échelle régionale à locale généralement requise par les utilisateurs. Ils vont de méthodes simples et pragmatiques de correction de biais (BC), qui ajustent directement les sorties du modèle d'intérêt (par exemple les précipitations) en fonction des observations locales disponibles, à des méthodes plus complexes de pronostic parfait (PP), qui dérivent indirectement des prédictions locales (par exemple les précipitations) à partir de variables appropriées du modèle à grande échelle de l'air supérieur (prédicteurs). Les méthodes de réduction d'échelle statistiques ont été largement utilisées et évaluées de manière critique dans les applications du changement climatique ; cependant, leurs avantages et leurs limites dans les prévisions saisonnières ne sont pas encore bien compris. Dans cet article, nous analysons ce problème en appliquant deux méthodes BC et deux méthodes PP à la pointe de la technologie pour réduire les précipitations à partir d'un rétroprojecteur saisonnier multimodèle dans une région tropicale difficile, les Philippines. Pour évaluer correctement la valeur ajoutée potentielle au-delà de la réduction des biais du modèle, nous considérons deux scores de validation qui ne sont pas sensibles aux changements de la moyenne (catégories de corrélation et de fiabilité). Nos résultats montrent que, alors que les méthodes BC maintiennent ou aggravent la compétence des prévisions du modèle brut, les méthodes PP peuvent apporter une amélioration significative des compétences (aggravation) dans les cas où les variables prédictives à grande échelle considérées sont meilleures (pires) prédites par le modèle que les précipitations. Par exemple, les méthodes PP augmentent (diminuent) la fiabilité du modèle dans près de 40 % des stations considérées en été boréal (automne). Statistical downscaling methods are popular post-processing tools which are widely used in many sectors to adapt the coarse-resolution biased outputs from global climate simulations to the regional-to-local scale typically required by users. They range from simple and pragmatic Bias Correction (BC) methods, which directly adjust the model outputs of interest (e.g. precipitation) according to the available local observations, to more complex Perfect Prognosis (PP) ones, which indirectly derive local predictions (e.g. precipitation) from appropriate upper-air large-scale model variables (predictors). Statistical downscaling methods have been extensively used and critically assessed in climate change applications; however, their advantages and limitations in seasonal forecasting are not well understood yet. In particular, a key problem in this context is whether they serve to improve the forecast quality/skill of raw model outputs beyond the adjustment of their systematic biases. In this paper we analyze this issue by applying two state-of-the-art BC and two PP methods to downscale precipitation from a multimodel seasonal hindcast in a challenging tropical region, the Philippines. To properly assess the potential added value beyond the reduction of model biases, we consider two validation scores which are not sensitive to changes in the mean (correlation and reliability categories). Our results show that, whereas BC methods maintain or worsen the skill of the raw model forecasts, PP methods can yield significant skill improvement (worsening) in cases for which the large-scale predictor variables considered are better (worse) predicted by the model than precipitation. For instance, PP methods are found to increase (decrease) model reliability in nearly 40% of the stations considered in boreal summer (autumn). [Context] Climate change is considered an important factor affecting the distribution and genetic diversity of species. While many studies have described the influence of climate change on population structure at various scales, little is known about the genetic consequences of a changing climate on endemic species. [Objectives] To assess possible changes in the distribution and genetic structure of the endangered Nilgiri tahr (Nilgiritragus hylocrius), which is endemic to the Western Ghats in India, under climate change and human disturbances. [Methods] We integrated tahr occurrence and nuclear DNA data with environmental geo-datasets to project the response of tahr populations to future climate change with respect to its distribution, genetic diversity and population structure. We screened the environmental variables using MaxEnt to identify a manageable set of predictors to be used in an ensemble approach, based on ten species distribution modelling techniques, to quantify the current tahr distribution. We then projected the distribution and genetic structure under two climate change scenarios. [Results] We found that suitable habitat for tahr (9,605 km2) is determined predominantly by a combination of climatic, human disturbance and topographic factors that result in a highly fragmented habitat throughout its distribution range in the Western Ghats. Under the severe high emissions RCP8.5 scenario tahr populations may lose more than half of their available habitat (55.5%) by 2070. Application of spatial Bayesian clustering suggests that their current genetic structure comprise four genetic clusters, with three of them reflecting a clear geographic structure. However, under climate change, two of these clusters may be lost, and in the future a homogenization of the genetic background of the remaining populations may arise due to prevalence of one gene pool cluster in the remaining populations. [Conclusions] Our interdisciplinary approach that combines niche modelling and genetic data identified the climate refugia (i.e., the remaining stable habitats that overlap with the current suitable areas), where the tahr populations would be restricted to small, isolated and fragmented areas. Essential factors to avert local extinctions of vulnerable tahr populations are a reduction of human disturbances, dispersal of tahr between fragmented populations, and the availability of corridors. While changes in fish populations and community structure threaten the sustainability of fisheries, our capacity to adapt by tracking and projecting marine species remains a challenge due to data discontinuities in biological observations, lack of data availability, and mismatch between data and real species distributions. To assess the extent of this challenge, we review the global status and accessibility of ongoing scientific bottom trawl surveys. In total, we gathered metadata for 283,925 samples from 95 surveys conducted regularly from 2001 to 2019. 59% of the metadata collected are not publicly available, highlighting that the availability of data is the most important challenge to assess species redistributions under global climate change. We further found that single surveys do not cover the full range of the main commercial demersal fish species and that an average of 18 surveys is needed to cover at least 50% of species ranges, demonstrating the importance of combining multiple surveys to evaluate species range shifts. We assess the potential for combining surveys to track transboundary species redistributions and show that differences in sampling schemes and inconsistency in sampling can be overcome with vector autoregressive spatio-temporal modeling to follow species density redistributions. In light of our global assessment, we establish a framework for improving the management and conservation of transboundary and migrating marine demersal species. We provide directions to improve data availability and encourage countries to share survey data, to assess species vulnerabilities, and to support management adaptation in a time of climate-driven ocean changes.

Proper thermal adaptation is key to understanding how species respond to temperature. However, this is seldom considered in protozooplankton and mixoplankton experiments. In this work, we studied how two heterotrophic dinoflagellates (Gyrodinium dominans and Oxyrrhis marina), one heterotrophic ciliate (Strombidium arenicola), and one mixotrophic dinoflagellate (Karlodinium armiger) responded to warming, comparing strains adapted at 16, 19 and 22 °C and those adapted at 16 °C and exposed for 3 days at 19 and 22 °C (acclimated treatments). Neither CNP contents nor the corresponding elemental ratios showed straightforward changes with temperature, except for a modest increase in P contents with temperature in some grazers. In general, the performance of both acclimated and adapted grazers increased from 16 to 19 °C and then dropped at 22 °C, with a few exceptions. Therefore, our organisms followed the “hotter is better” hypothesis from 16 to 19 °C; above 19 °C, however, the results were variable. Despite the disparity in the responses between species and physiological rates, in general, it seems that 19 °C-adapted organisms performed better than acclimated-only organisms. However, at 22 °C, most species were at the limit of their metabolisms and were unable to fully adapt. Nevertheless, adaptation to higher temperatures conferred some advantages prior to sudden increases in temperature (up to 25 °C) that simulated a heatwave episode. In summary, adaptation to temperature seems to confer a selective advantage to protistan grazers within a narrow range (i.e., ca. 3 °C). (Lázaro);Seawater warming and increased incidence of marine heatwaves (MHW) are threatening the integrity of coastal marine habitats including seagrasses, which are particularly vulnerable to climate changes. Novel stress tolerance-enhancing strategies, including thermo-priming, have been extensively applied in terrestrial plants for enhancing resilience capacity under the re-occurrence of a stress event. We applied, for the first time in seedlings of the Mediterranean seagrass Posidonia oceanica, a thermo-priming treatment through the exposure to a simulated warming event. We analyzed the photo-physiological and growth performance of primed and non-primed seedlings, and the gene expression responses of selected genes (i.e. stress-, photosynthesis- and epigenetic-related genes). Results revealed that during the re-occurring stress event, primed seedlings performed better than unprimed showing unaltered photo-physiology supported by high expression levels of genes related to stress response, photosynthesis, and epigenetic modifications. These findings offer new opportunities to improve conservation and restoration efforts in a future scenario of environmental changes.

Stengel; Juan M. Ruiz;Global warming is emerging as one of the most critical threats to terrestrial and marine species worldwide. This study assessed the effects of simulated warming events in culture on two seagrass species, Posidonia oceanica and Cymodocea nodosa, which play a key role in coastal ecosystems of the Mediterranean Sea. Changes in fatty acids as key metabolic indicators were assessed in specimens from two geographical populations of each species adapted to different in situ temperature regimes. Total fatty acid (TFA) content and composition were compared in C. nodosa and P. oceanica from natural populations and following exposure to heat stress in culture. After heat exposure, individuals of C. nodosa and P. oceanica adapted to colder temperatures in situ accumulated significantly more TFA than controls. For both species, the proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) decreased, and the percentage of saturated fatty acids (SFA) increased significantly after the heat treatment. These results highlight that populations of both species living at warmest temperatures in situ were more thermo-tolerant and exhibited a greater capacity to cope with heat stress by readjusting their lipid composition faster. Finally, exposure of seagrasses to warmer conditions may induce a decrease in PUFA/SFA ratio which could negatively affect their nutritional value and generate important consequences in the healthy state of next trophic levels.

While much is known about the factors that control each component of the terrestrial nitrogen (N) cycle, it is less clear how these factors affect total N availability, the sum of organic and inorganic forms potentially available to microorganisms and plants. This is particularly true for N-poor ecosystems such as drylands, which are highly sensitive to climate change and desertification processes that can lead to the loss of soil nutrients such as N. We evaluated how different climatic, abiotic, plant and nutrient related factors correlate with N availability in semiarid Stipa tenacissima grasslands along a broad aridity gradient from Spain to Tunisia. Aridity had the strongest relationship with N availability, suggesting the importance of abiotic controls on the N cycle in drylands. Aridity appeared to modulate the effects of pH, plant cover and organic C (OC) on N availability. Our results suggest that N transformation rates, which are largely driven by variations in soil moisture, are not the direct drivers of N availability in the studied grasslands. Rather, the strong relationship between aridity and N availability could be driven by indirect effects that operate over long time scales (decades to millennia), including both biotic (e.g. plant cover) and abiotic (e.g. soil OC and pH). If these factors are in fact more important than short-term effects of precipitation on N transformation rates, then we might expect to observe a lagged decrease in N availability in response to increasing aridity. LISA cruise has the objective of acquiring new geophysical data in a mostly unexplored region of the SW Iberia Margin, about which many questions exist posing problems to geological interpretation. The LISA cruise acquired geophysical data along a profile (the LISA profile) that cuts across the Ampere seamount, the West Horseshoe Abyssal Palin, the plate boundary region and intersection of the Tore-Madeira Rise with the Gloria fault, and the Atlantic oceanic crust. The cruise consisted on the acquisition of wide angle seismic reflection anf refraction data using 21 OBH from GEOMAR-Kiel and the UTM seismic source. Additional data acquired: magnetic, multibeam bathymetry and backscatter and parasound. Oceanographic data acquired during the LISA Cruise (29SG20220616) on board the Research Vessel Sarmiento de Gamboa in 2022.

13th International Conference on Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies, GHGT-13, 14-18 November 2016, Lausanne, Switzerland A calcium looping (CaL) process is a carbon capture technology which utilizes calcium oxide to remove carbon dioxide from the flue gas of a power plant. Like most capture technologies, CaL process has a high energy demand, which reduces power plant efficiency. The energy penalty and the operating and capital costs of the unit can be reduced by increasing the concentration of O2 in the oxidant flow to calciner. In this study, a calciner has been studied with a three dimensional, steady-state, CFB process model. First, the model was validated by test data of the calciner in la Pereda CaL pilot. Next, a 3D model was created for a 200 MWth commercial scale calciner, in which the inlet oxygen concentration was increased up to 75% to map the potentials of improving the heat balance of the system and to investigate how the calciner operates in these conditions. Based on the simulations, the CaL process is feasible even at very high inlet oxygen concentration. Les méthodes de réduction d'échelle statistiques sont des outils de post-traitement populaires qui sont largement utilisés dans de nombreux secteurs pour adapter les résultats biaisés à résolution grossière des simulations climatiques mondiales à l'échelle régionale à locale généralement requise par les utilisateurs. Ils vont de méthodes simples et pragmatiques de correction de biais (BC), qui ajustent directement les sorties du modèle d'intérêt (par exemple les précipitations) en fonction des observations locales disponibles, à des méthodes plus complexes de pronostic parfait (PP), qui dérivent indirectement des prédictions locales (par exemple les précipitations) à partir de variables appropriées du modèle à grande échelle de l'air supérieur (prédicteurs). Les méthodes de réduction d'échelle statistiques ont été largement utilisées et évaluées de manière critique dans les applications du changement climatique ; cependant, leurs avantages et leurs limites dans les prévisions saisonnières ne sont pas encore bien compris. En particulier, un problème clé dans ce contexte est de savoir s'ils servent à améliorer la qualité/compétence prévisionnelle des résultats des modèles bruts au-delà de l'ajustement de leurs biais systématiques. Dans cet article, nous analysons ce problème en appliquant deux méthodes BC et deux méthodes PP à la pointe de la technologie pour réduire les précipitations à partir d'un rétroprojecteur saisonnier multimodèle dans une région tropicale difficile, les Philippines. Pour évaluer correctement la valeur ajoutée potentielle au-delà de la réduction des biais du modèle, nous considérons deux scores de validation qui ne sont pas sensibles aux changements de la moyenne (catégories de corrélation et de fiabilité). Nos résultats montrent que, alors que les méthodes BC maintiennent ou aggravent la compétence des prévisions du modèle brut, les méthodes PP peuvent apporter une amélioration significative des compétences (aggravation) dans les cas où les variables prédictives à grande échelle considérées sont meilleures (pires) prédites par le modèle que les précipitations. Par exemple, les méthodes PP augmentent (diminuent) la fiabilité du modèle dans près de 40 % des stations considérées en été boréal (automne). Nuestros resultados muestran que, mientras que los métodos BC mantienen o empeoran la habilidad de los pronósticos del modelo en bruto, los métodos PP pueden producir una mejora significativa de la habilidad (empeoramiento) en los casos en que las variables predictoras a gran escala consideradas son mejores (peores) predichas por el modelo que la precipitación. Statistical downscaling methods are popular post-processing tools which are widely used in many sectors to adapt the coarse-resolution biased outputs from global climate simulations to the regional-to-local scale typically required by users. They range from simple and pragmatic Bias Correction (BC) methods, which directly adjust the model outputs of interest (e.g. precipitation) according to the available local observations, to more complex Perfect Prognosis (PP) ones, which indirectly derive local predictions (e.g. precipitation) from appropriate upper-air large-scale model variables (predictors). Statistical downscaling methods have been extensively used and critically assessed in climate change applications; however, their advantages and limitations in seasonal forecasting are not well understood yet. In particular, a key problem in this context is whether they serve to improve the forecast quality/skill of raw model outputs beyond the adjustment of their systematic biases. In this paper we analyze this issue by applying two state-of-the-art BC and two PP methods to downscale precipitation from a multimodel seasonal hindcast in a challenging tropical region, the Philippines. To properly assess the potential added value beyond the reduction of model biases, we consider two validation scores which are not sensitive to changes in the mean (correlation and reliability categories). Our results show that, whereas BC methods maintain or worsen the skill of the raw model forecasts, PP methods can yield significant skill improvement (worsening) in cases for which the large-scale predictor variables considered are better (worse) predicted by the model than precipitation. For instance, PP methods are found to increase (decrease) model reliability in nearly 40% of the stations considered in boreal summer (autumn). [Context] Climate change is considered an important factor affecting the distribution and genetic diversity of species. While many studies have described the influence of climate change on population structure at various scales, little is known about the genetic consequences of a changing climate on endemic species. [Objectives] To assess possible changes in the distribution and genetic structure of the endangered Nilgiri tahr (Nilgiritragus hylocrius), which is endemic to the Western Ghats in India, under climate change and human disturbances. [Methods] We integrated tahr occurrence and nuclear DNA data with environmental geo-datasets to project the response of tahr populations to future climate change with respect to its distribution, genetic diversity and population structure. We screened the environmental variables using MaxEnt to identify a manageable set of predictors to be used in an ensemble approach, based on ten species distribution modelling techniques, to quantify the current tahr distribution. We then projected the distribution and genetic structure under two climate change scenarios. [Results] We found that suitable habitat for tahr (9,605 km2) is determined predominantly by a combination of climatic, human disturbance and topographic factors that result in a highly fragmented habitat throughout its distribution range in the Western Ghats. Under the severe high emissions RCP8.5 scenario tahr populations may lose more than half of their available habitat (55.5%) by 2070. Application of spatial Bayesian clustering suggests that their current genetic structure comprise four genetic clusters, with three of them reflecting a clear geographic structure. However, under climate change, two of these clusters may be lost, and in the future a homogenization of the genetic background of the remaining populations may arise due to prevalence of one gene pool cluster in the remaining populations. [Conclusions] Our interdisciplinary approach that combines niche modelling and genetic data identified the climate refugia (i.e., the remaining stable habitats that overlap with the current suitable areas), where the tahr populations would be restricted to small, isolated and fragmented areas. While changes in fish populations and community structure threaten the sustainability of fisheries, our capacity to adapt by tracking and projecting marine species remains a challenge due to data discontinuities in biological observations, lack of data availability, and mismatch between data and real species distributions. To assess the extent of this challenge, we review the global status and accessibility of ongoing scientific bottom trawl surveys. In total, we gathered metadata for 283,925 samples from 95 surveys conducted regularly from 2001 to 2019. 59% of the metadata collected are not publicly available, highlighting that the availability of data is the most important challenge to assess species redistributions under global climate change. We further found that single surveys do not cover the full range of the main commercial demersal fish species and that an average of 18 surveys is needed to cover at least 50% of species ranges, demonstrating the importance of combining multiple surveys to evaluate species range shifts. We assess the potential for combining surveys to track transboundary species redistributions and show that differences in sampling schemes and inconsistency in sampling can be overcome with vector autoregressive spatio-temporal modeling to follow species density redistributions. In light of our global assessment, we establish a framework for improving the management and conservation of transboundary and migrating marine demersal species. We provide directions to improve data availability and encourage countries to share survey data, to assess species vulnerabilities, and to support management adaptation in a time of climate-driven ocean changes.

Proper thermal adaptation is key to understanding how species respond to temperature. However, this is seldom considered in protozooplankton and mixoplankton experiments. In this work, we studied how two heterotrophic dinoflagellates (Gyrodinium dominans and Oxyrrhis marina), one heterotrophic ciliate (Strombidium arenicola), and one mixotrophic dinoflagellate (Karlodinium armiger) responded to warming, comparing strains adapted at 16, 19 and 22 °C and those adapted at 16 °C and exposed for 3 days at 19 and 22 °C (acclimated treatments). Neither CNP contents nor the corresponding elemental ratios showed straightforward changes with temperature, except for a modest increase in P contents with temperature in some grazers. In general, the performance of both acclimated and adapted grazers increased from 16 to 19 °C and then dropped at 22 °C, with a few exceptions. Therefore, our organisms followed the “hotter is better” hypothesis from 16 to 19 °C; above 19 °C, however, the results were variable. Despite the disparity in the responses between species and physiological rates, in general, it seems that 19 °C-adapted organisms performed better than acclimated-only organisms. However, at 22 °C, most species were at the limit of their metabolisms and were unable to fully adapt. Nevertheless, adaptation to higher temperatures conferred some advantages prior to sudden increases in temperature (up to 25 °C) that simulated a heatwave episode. In summary, adaptation to temperature seems to confer a selective advantage to protistan grazers within a narrow range (i.e., ca. 3 °C).
