Abstract

AbstractThe paper describes the use of 1,5,7‐triazabicyclo[4.4.0]dec‐5‐ene (TBD) an organocatalyst, in combination with dimethylcarbonate (II), allowing the synthesis of unsymmetrical carbonates (III) in high yields under optimized conditions.
