    Mediante el método de función de producción agrícola, se estima económicamente los efectos del cambio climático en la producción y rendimiento de quinua, se concluye que las variables climáticas si afectan la producción y rendimiento de quinua, estos explican más del 60% y 35 % respectivamente. El factor climático que más influye en la producción y rendimiento es la temperatura máxima, a un nivel de significancia del 10%. Las temperaturas optimas son, temperatura máxima 15.2°C, temperatura mínima 5°C y precipitación de 765.5 mm. El comportamiento de los factores climáticos muestra una tendencia creciente, y el efecto hacia la producción y rendimiento son negativas, ya que a medida que se eleva la temperatura sobrepasando el umbral optimo requerido por el cultivo, la producción y rendimiento de quinua se reduce. Según el pronóstico de producción de quinua para los próximos 16 años, los efectos serán perjudiciales no solo para la quinua, sino para todo el sector agrícola, con riesgos desde la disminución de la producción y calidad de los alimentos, ingresos más bajos y alza de precios. Es importante, la implementación de medidas de adaptación y mitigación para el sector agrícola By the method of agricultural production function, is economically estimates the effects of climate change in the production and performance of quinoa, it is concluded that climatic variables if they affect the production and performance of quinoa, these account for more than 60% and 35% respectively . The climate factor influencing the production and performance is the maximum temperature at a significance level of 10%. The optimum temperatures are 15.2 ° C maximum temperature, minimum temperature -5 ° C and rainfall of 765.5 mm. The behavior of climatic factors shows an increasing trend, and the effect toward production and performance are negative, because as the temperature rises exceeding the optimal threshold required for the cultivation, production and performance of quinoa is reduced. According to the forecast of quinoa production for the next 16 years, the effects will be detrimental not only for quinoa, but for the entire agricultural sector, with risks from declining production and food quality, lower incomes and rising prices. It is important, the implementation of adaptation and mitigation measures for the agricultural sector.

    Authors: Toro Rodríguez, Sofía;

    [EN] Climate change represents one of the most significant challenges for rural municipalities in the Valencian Community. This challenge is particularly complex due to the limitations of their local entities in terms of resources and capacities for the design and implementation of local climate policies. These policies not only seek to mitigate and adapt to the adverse effects of climate change but also to strengthen local economies and improve the quality of life of inhabitants. According to the stipulations in Article 18 of Law 6/2022 on climate change and ecological transition in the Valencian Community, municipalities are required to approve climate and sustainable energy action plans (PACES), even indicating that planning can be carried out at a supramunicipal level. The objective of this Master's Thesis is to identify and characterize the areas of action and possible coordination mechanisms for the integration of climate change adaptation into municipal or supramunicipal adaptation policies. Based on this objective, a Guide to Climate Change Adaptation Policies for Rural Municipalities in the Valencian Community has been developed, providing recommendations for the implementation of local climate change adaptation policies. This guide is elaborated based on the synergies found between the Methodological Guide for the definition of PACES of the Valencian Community and a self-assessment questionnaire of the capacities of local climate change adaptation, initially provided by the Ministry of Environment, Water, Infrastructure, and Territory of the Valencian Government and oriented towards large cities. However, this questionnaire is adapted and used as a framework for analysis to identify the needs and barriers of rural municipalities. This Master's Thesis has been carried out within the framework of UPV internships at the Chair of New Green Transition in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Water, Infrastructure, and Territory of the Valencian Government. [ES] Los efectos del cambio climático en la región mediterránea hacen necesaria la adopción, en todos los niveles políticos y administrativos, de políticas y medidas de adaptación. Esta necesidad es un reto particularmente en los pequeños municipios rurales de las zonas de interior, tanto por las particularidades de estos territorios, como por las limitaciones de estas entidades locales en términos de recursos y capacidades para su diseño e implementación. La Ley 6/2022 del cambio climático y la transición ecológica de la Comunitat Valenciana introduce, en su artículo 18, la obligación de que los municipios aprueben planes de acción para el clima y la energía sostenible (PACES), dejando la puerta abierta a que esta planificación se pueda realizar también a escala supramunicipal. El objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Máster es identificar y caracterizar los ámbitos de actuación y los posibles mecanismos de coordinación en el marco de las políticas de adaptación municipales o supramunicipales. A partir de dicho objetivo, este trabajo desarrollará una guía para la incorporación de dichas políticas orientada a los municipios rurales de la Comunitat Valenciana. Para la realización de este trabajo, se partirá de un cuestionario inicial elaborado desde la Conselleria de Medio Ambiente de la Generalitat Valenciana, orientado inicialmente a grandes ciudades. Este cuestionario será adaptado y utilizado como marco de análisis para la identificación de las necesidades de este tipo de municipios rurales. Este TFM se realiza en el marco de unas prácticas UPV en la Cátedra de Nueva Transición Verde en colaboración con la Conselleria de Medio Ambiente de la Generalitat Valenciana.

    ilustraciones, diagramas, fotografías Este trabajo se enfoca en analizar objetos y procesos artesanales que puedan contener significados explícitos e implícitos de resistencia social, cultural, ecológica o política. Se han estudiado los procesos creativos de artesanas y creadores de los pueblos indígenas iku y nasa en Colombia y sami en Suecia. Además de una breve reflexión teórica sobre la capacidad comunicativa de los objetos y sus significados implícitos, así como de los conceptos básicos de resistencia, diseño y artesanía, se incluye una sucinta descripción de los iku, nasa y sami. En entrevistas a once personas de los pueblos mencionados, se identificaron aquellas manifestaciones que podrían ser consideradas como resistencia en los procesos artesanales estudiados. El trabajo propone una reflexión sobre cómo los objetos pueden tener la capacidad de comunicar resistencias sociales, culturales, políticas y ecológicas. (Tomado de la fuente). This work aims to analyze craft objects that could contain inherent meanings of social, cultural, ecological or political resistance. The creative processes of makers from the Iku and Nasa indigenous peoples of Colombia and the Sami people of Sweden have been studied. The work encompasses a brief reflection on the communicative capacity of objects and their implicit meanings as well as of the basic concepts of resistance, design and craft paired with a succinct description of the Iku, Nasa and Sami indigenous peoples. An analysis of the manifestations that could be considered as resistance in the studied artisanal processes is brought forward through 11 interviews with artisans. The work proposes a final reflection on how craft objects can have the capacity to communicate social, cultural, political and ecological resistance. Maestría Magíster en Diseño El enfoque metodológico de la investigación está basado en la etnografía . Los instrumentos de recolección se resumen en: trabajo de campo, diario reflexivo, observación directa, fotografía, conversación alrededor del objeto artesanal (plantilla de conversación a través del objeto artesanal ) así como entrevista semiestructurada presencial y virtual a través de plataformas virtuales. Además de lo anterior se estudiaron objetos y documentos etnográficos Iku de la colección del museo de etnografía con sede en Estocolmo y Gotemburgo, Suecia. Sociedad y cultura Diseño

    Se estudia el potencial de generación de energía solar fotovoltaica en techos de toda la ciudad de Buenos Aires, tanto en edificios existentes como nuevos, con el objetivo de cuantificar el aporte que podría realizar esta tecnología en la mitigación de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, contextualizado en los compromisos de la ciudad de alcanzar la carbono neutralidad en el año 2.050. Se determina que con la actual tecnología solar fotovoltaica podría aportarse el 72% de los requerimientos de energía eléctrica de la ciudad, mitigándose el 29% del total de emisiones de la misma, aunque esta proporción podría variar con el tiempo, en función de la interacción entre mejores eficiencias, aumento en las emisiones y en la demanda energética local. Se estima la proyección de crecimiento de edificios nuevos y de emisiones hasta 2.050 y se consideran modificaciones normativas para propiciar la incorporación de instalaciones solares en las nuevas construcciones. Potential for rooftop photovoltaic solar energy is studied throughout Buenos Aires city, both in existing buildings and new projected buildings. The objective is quantifyng the contribution that this technology could make against greenhouse gas emissions, contextualized in the city’s commitments to achieve carbón neutrality by the year 2050. With current conditions of PV solar technology, 72% of electrical Energy requirements of the city could be provided, and 29% of total emissions could be mitigated, althouh this ratio could change over time, due the dinamic balance between state of art and the growth of emission and Energy demand. The growth projection of new buildings and emissions up to 2050 is also considered. Regulatory tools are proposed to promote the incorporation of solar facilities in new buildings.     Authors: Tuvilla Rodríguez, Marina;

    Los jóvenes son uno de los colectivos más débiles de la sociedad debido a que se enfrentan a insólitas dificultades e incluso a riesgos que amenazan su vida. Circunstancias que se han visto agravadas debido a la pandemia y a la guerra de Ucrania. Se ven afectados por los lentos fenómenos que desencadena el cambio climático y por la exclusión de la primera línea de la toma de decisiones del poder. Sufren diversas formas de marginación interrelacionadas y precariedad laboral. Es importante que la sociedad los involucre en la construcción de la paz, el desarrollo y la justicia; proporcionándoles herramientas para que puedan ser partícipes de la implementación de la Agenda 2030. Ayudándoles a crear condiciones para que puedan progresar, y desempeñar un papel activo propiciando así soluciones innovadoras. El presente estudio nace de nuestras propias reflexiones como jóvenes y con los jóvenes, de la motivación por el cambio y por el interés de buscar una respuesta educativa que encuentre generar soluciones innovadoras a problemáticas presentes y futuras usando la Agenda 2030 como itinerario para su consecución. Para ello hemos realizado encuestas para saber la situación de partida y hemos llevado a cabo talleres de formación en diferentes universidades y ONG de jóvenes Los jóvenes son actores de cambio social y político, y es por este motivo, por lo que nuestros objetivos se centran en dar a conocer e implementar los desafíos de la Agenda 2030 y de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible en relación con los jóvenes. Planteamos dar respuesta al desconocimiento que los jóvenes tienen sobre la Agenda 2030 mediante un proyecto de innovación utilizando la educación transformadora para la ciudadanía global y la innovación social como elementos claves. Determinamos que las instituciones universitarias, en su papel de entidades educativas y colaborativas, deben proporcionar las herramientas necesarias para que el alumnado pueda ayudar a cumplir con los retos de la Agenda 2030 ofreciéndose como guías y dinamizadores que generen nuevas ideas y acciones en los jóvenes a través de la formación y de liderar proyectos de innovación para crear un mundo mejor para todos. Young people are one of the weakest groups in society because they face unusual difficulties and even life-threatening risks. Circumstances that have been aggravated by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. They are affected by the slow phenomena triggered by climate change and by exclusion from the front line of power decision-making. They suffer from various forms of interrelated marginalisation and job insecurity. It is important for society to engage them in building peace, development and justice; providing them with tools so that they can be part of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Helping them to create the conditions for them to make progress, and to play an active role in bringing about innovative solutions. This study stems from our own reflections as young people and with young people, from our motivation for change and our interest in seeking an educational response to generate innovative solutions to present and future problems, using the 2030 Agenda as an itinerary for its achievement. To this end, we have carried out surveys to find out the initial situation and we have conducted training workshops in different universities and youth NGOs. Young people are actors of social and political change, and it is for this reason that our objectives focus on raising awareness and implementing the challenges of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals in relation to young people. We propose to respond to the lack of knowledge that young people have about the 2030 Agenda through an innovation project using transformative education for global citizenship and social innovation as key elements. We determine that university institutions, in their role as educational and collaborative entities, must provide the necessary tools so that students can help meet the challenges of the 2030 Agenda by offering themselves as guides and dynamisers that generate new ideas and actions in young people through training and leading innovation projects to create a better world for all.

    De las 4939 organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG) registradas en 2020 en el Ecuador, menos de un tercio se encuentran en operación, un tercio han dejado de funcionar y otro tercio no dispone de información sobre su funcionamiento. Estas cifras reflejan la realidad agravada sobre el tercer sector en el Ecuador, objeto de análisis del presente artículo. Por un lado, la situación pone en evidencia las falencias del Estado para ofrecer respuesta a las necesidades de su población; por otro, da cuenta del llamado “oenegismo”, un fenómeno en el que se extiende el rol de las ONG de manera sobredimensionada. Mediante la descripción y el análisis de los datos, en este texto se aborda la crisis que atraviesa esta esfera de participación ciudadana, limitada a pocos actores profesionalizados que compiten de manera permanente con decenas de organizaciones locales. Se describe el escenario de escasas oportunidades para obtener financiamiento, así como la presencia de las ONG en medios digitales, lo cual favorecería la divulgación de sus labores y su legitimación. Se concluye que las cifras demuestran la necesidad de aplicar estrategias que permitan fortalecer la dinámica del tercer sector, de forma que el Estado, el sector privado y los agentes que componen el mundo de las fundaciones y ONG ofrezcan una respuesta real a las problemáticas sociales. Of the 4,939 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) registered in 2020 in Ecuador, less than one third known to be in operation, one third have ceased to operate and the other third provide no information about their functioning. These figures reflect the dire reality of the third sector in Ecuador, which is the subject of analysis in this article. On the one hand, the situation highlights the shortcomings of the state in responding to the needs of its population; on the other hand, it reveals so-called "NGOism", a situation in which the role of NGOs has become overextended. Through the description and analysis of data, this text addresses the crisis in this sphere of citizen participation, which is limited to a few professionalized actors in permanent competition with dozens of local organizations. It describes a scenario of scarce opportunities to obtain funding, as well as the presence of NGOs in digital media, which engenders the dissemination of their work and their legitimization. It is concluded that these figures reflect the need to implement strategies to strengthen the dynamics of the third sector, so that the state, the private sector and the agents that constitute the world of foundations and NGOs offer a genuine response to social problems. Das 4.939 organizações não governamentais (ONGs) registradas no Equador em 2020, menos de um terço está em operação, um terço deixou de funcionar e outro terço não possui informações sobre seu funcionamento. Essas cifras refletem a realidade agravada com relação ao terceiro setor no Equador, objeto de análise neste artigo. Por um lado, a situação evidencia o fracasso do Estado em dar uma resposta às necessidades de sua população e, por outro, expõe o chamado “oenegismo”, fenômeno em que o papel das ONGs se estende de forma exagerada. Por meio da descrição e análise dos dados este texto aborda a crise que atravessa essa esfera da participação cidadã, limitada a poucos atores profissionalizados que competem permanentemente com dezenas de organizações locais. Descreve-se o cenário de poucas oportunidades de obtenção de financiamento, bem como a presença de ONGs nos meios digitais, o que favoreceria a divulgação de seu trabalho e sua legitimidade. Conclui-se que os números mostram a necessidade de aplicar estratégias que fortaleçam a dinâmica do terceiro setor, para que o Estado, a iniciativa privada e os agentes que compõem o mundo das fundações e ONGs ofereçam uma resposta real aos problemas sociais.

    El biodiesel de aceite de palma posee excelentes propiedades como combustible para motores, sin embargo, asociado como su composición química altamente saturada, este biocombustible presenta un deficiente desempeño a temperaturas cercanas a las temperaturas ambientes de algunas ciudades del Perú. A 16 ºC el biocombustible de aceite de palma empieza a formar pequeños cristales, los cuales a medida que la temperatura sigue disminuyendo, aceleran su crecimiento y se aglomeran, de tal modo, que a una temperatura entre 12 y 9 ºC puede llegar a impedir completamente el flujo del combustible. En este trabajo se evaluó la técnica de hibernación al aceite de palma aceitera mediante cristalización inducida por enfriamiento para mejorar sus propiedades de flujo a baja temperaturas. Las variables tenidas en cuenta para dicho proceso fueron la temperatura de enfriamiento o hibernación y el tiempo de estabilización. De acuerdo con los puntos nube y rendimiento del biocombustible de aceite de palma. El proceso permitió obtener una fracción liquida a la temperatura de hibernación con mejor punto nube a bajas temperaturas que el biodiesel de palma original. En las condiciones probadas (tp = 08 horas y T = 1 OºC) se obtuvo una fracción liquida con un punto nube 8°C menor que el aceite de palma sin fraccionar, además, se obtuvo un punto nube 8ºC menor que el biodiesel elaborado con el aceite de palma sin hiberniza. Dicho cambio en el punto nube del aceite de palma y el biocombustible elaborado por el aceite mencionado es debido al aumento en el contenido de ácidos grasos insaturados en su estructura. Finalmente se puede concluir que se logró mejorar la calidad del biodiesel elaborado a partir de aceites hibernizados, en cuanto a su punto nube ya que la muestra testigo presentó un valor de 13 ºC de punto nube comparado esto con el tratamiento realizado por 08 horas a 1 OºC donde se redujo esto a SºC. Palm oil biodiesel has excellent properties as fuel for anginas, however associated as their chemical composition highly saturated, this biofuel presents a poor performance at temperatures close to ambient temperatures of sore cities of the Peru. 16 ºC biofuel of palm oil begins to form small crystals, which as the temperature continue to decline, accelerate their growth and will agglomerate, in such a way that at a temperature between 12 and 9 ° C can completely stop the flow of the fuel. In this work was assessed the technique of winterization oil of palm oil through crystallization induced by cooling to improve their properties of flow at low temperatures. The variables taken into account in this process were the temperature of cooling or winterization and the time of stabilization. According to the points cloud and performance of the palm oil biofuel. The process allowed to obtain a fraction liquid temperature of winterization with best point cloud at a lower temperature than the original Palm biodiesel. At tested conditions (tp = 08 hours and T = 1 O ºC) obtained a fraction liquid with a point cloud 8 º C lower than Palm oil without fractionated, also won a point cloud 8 º C lower than biodiesel made from the oil palm without winterize. Such a change in the point cloud of palm oil and biofuel produced by the above-mentioned oil is due to the increase in the content of unsaturated fatty acids in its structure. Finally, we can conclude that it was possible to improve the quality of biodiesel made from oils winterize, in terms of point cloud and the control sample had a value of 13 º C point cloud compared this with the treatment ' by 08 hours at 10 º C where it was reduced to 5 ºC.

    El aprovechamiento de la energía solar para la sustitución de la energía proveniente de fuentes fósiles se ha consolidado en los últimos años como una alternativa viable. La amplia variedad de estrategias pasivas para el diseño arquitectónico y la disminución de costos de los sistemas activos para la transformación de la energía solar han incentivado a generar proyectos de diversas escalas, llevando a la necesidad de contar con herramientas que permitan evaluar la viabilidad de los mismos. El presente trabajo aporta una herramienta para determinar la radiación solar total sobre la superficie expuesta de edificios, otorgando resultados en forma gráfica y numérica. Dicha herramienta puede ser ejecutada utilizando el software Rhinoceros 3D. La misma se ha confeccionado con una metodología que consiste de 2 partes generales: 1. Simulación de efectos climáticos y 2. Simulación de la radiación solar en geometrías. Por último, se expone el uso de la herramienta en 3 establecimientos hospitalarios situados en la ciudad de La Plata. Se verifica su aplicabilidad para estudios de diversas escalas (urbana y edilicia), advirtiendo que cumple en gran medida con las siguientes características: amigable, compatible y accesible. The use of solar energy to replace energy from fossil fuels has become a viable alternative in recent years. The wide variety of passive strategies for architectural design and the decrease in cost of systems for the transformation of solar energy has encouraged the generation of projects of different scales, leading to the need for tools to evaluate their viability. This work provides a tool to determine the total solar radiation on the exposed surface of buildings, giving results in graphical and numerical form. This tool can be executed by Rhinoceros 3D software. It has been developed with a methodology, which can be understood in 2 general parts: 1. Simulation of climatic effects and 2.

    Authors: Toro Rodríguez, Sofía;

    Se estudia el potencial de generación de energía solar fotovoltaica en techos de toda la ciudad de Buenos Aires, tanto en edificios existentes como nuevos, con el objetivo de cuantificar el aporte que podría realizar esta tecnología en la mitigación de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, contextualizado en los compromisos de la ciudad de alcanzar la carbono neutralidad en el año 2.050. Se determina que con la actual tecnología solar fotovoltaica podría aportarse el 72% de los requerimientos de energía eléctrica de la ciudad, mitigándose el 29% del total de emisiones de la misma, aunque esta proporción podría variar con el tiempo, en función de la interacción entre mejores eficiencias, aumento en las emisiones y en la demanda energética local. Se estima la proyección de crecimiento de edificios nuevos y de emisiones hasta 2.050 y se consideran modificaciones normativas para propiciar la incorporación de instalaciones solares en las nuevas construcciones. Potential for rooftop photovoltaic solar energy is studied throughout Buenos Aires city, both in existing buildings and new projected buildings. The objective is quantifyng the contribution that this technology could make against greenhouse gas emissions, contextualized in the city’s commitments to achieve carbón neutrality by the year 2050. With current conditions of PV solar technology, 72% of electrical Energy requirements of the city could be provided, and 29% of total emissions could be mitigated, althouh this ratio could change over time, due the dinamic balance between state of art and the growth of emission and Energy demand. The growth projection of new buildings and emissions up to 2050 is also considered. Regulatory tools are proposed to promote the incorporation of solar facilities in new buildings.     Authors: Tuvilla Rodríguez, Marina;

    Authors: Rico Charco, Juan Carlos;

    [ES] El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo el desarrollo de un plan de dirección del proyecto de una planta solar fotovoltaica de 100 kW de potencia nominal situada en la cubierta de una nave industrial en la localidad de Paterna (Valencia) con el objetivo del autoconsumo de la mayor cantidad de energía posible en el proceso productivo y la compensación de los excedentes generados. Dado que la cubierta actual de la nave industrial es de amianto, se incluye dentro del alcance del proyecto la retirada y sustitución de acuerdo con el Real Decreto 396/2006, por el que se establecen las disposiciones mínimas de seguridad y salud aplicables a los trabajos con riesgo de exposición al amianto. Se hará una presentación inicial del proyecto incluyendo sus características y condicionantes. El proyecto se enfocará desde el punto de vista de la empresa promotora del proyecto, incluyendo en este desde el desarrollo documental inicial hasta la ejecución final. A continuación, se desarrollará el Plan de dirección del proyecto, de acuerdo con la Guía de los Fundamentos para la Dirección de Proyectos (Guía del PMBOK) elaborada por el Project Management Institute (PMI). A parte del Acta de Constitución del Proyecto se desarrollarán los siguientes planes: Plan de Gestión del Alcance, Plan de Gestión de los Interesados, Plan de Gestión de los Requisitos, Plan de Gestión de las Comunicaciones, Plan de Gestión del Cronograma, Plan de Gestión de los Costos, Plan de Gestión de los Riesgos, y finalmente, el Plan de Gestión de la Calidad, los cuales incluirán la información necesaria para una eficaz y eficiente gestión y dirección del Proyecto. [CA] Aquest treball té com a objectiu el desenvolupament d'un pla de direcció del projecte d'una planta solar fotovoltaica de 100 kW de potència nominal situada a la coberta d'una nau industrial a la localitat de Paterna (València) amb l'objectiu de l'autoconsum de la major quantitat denergia possible en el procés productiu i la compensació dels excedents generats. Atès que la coberta actual de la nau industrial és d'amiant, s'inclou dins de l'abast del projecte la retirada i la substitució d'acord amb el Reial decret 396/2006, pel qual s'estableixen les disposicions mínimes de seguretat i salut aplicables als treballs amb risc dexposició a lamiant. El aprovechamiento de la energía solar para la sustitución de la energía proveniente de fuentes fósiles se ha consolidado en los últimos años como una alternativa viable. La amplia variedad de estrategias pasivas para el diseño arquitectónico y la disminución de costos de los sistemas activos para la transformación de la energía solar han incentivado a generar proyectos de diversas escalas, llevando a la necesidad de contar con herramientas que permitan evaluar la viabilidad de los mismos. El presente trabajo aporta una herramienta para determinar la radiación solar total sobre la superficie expuesta de edificios, otorgando resultados en forma gráfica y numérica. Dicha herramienta puede ser ejecutada utilizando el software Rhinoceros 3D. La misma se ha confeccionado con una metodología que consiste de 2 partes generales: 1. Simulación de efectos climáticos y 2. Simulación de la radiación solar en geometrías. Por último, se expone el uso de la herramienta en 3 establecimientos hospitalarios situados en la ciudad de La Plata. Se verifica su aplicabilidad para estudios de diversas escalas (urbana y edilicia), advirtiendo que cumple en gran medida con las siguientes características: amigable, compatible y accesible. The use of solar energy to replace energy from fossil fuels has become a viable alternative in recent years. The wide variety of passive strategies for architectural design and the decrease in cost of systems for the transformation of solar energy has encouraged the generation of projects of different scales, leading to the need for tools to evaluate their viability.
